The price will probably be lower when it gets closer to release. Though the box looks great, it should be wood for that price.

I might get this, just wish it was a better looking set, like the castle or something. One thing I do know, WB can shove UV up their ass.

As fancy and pretty as the box is... Jesus! I could get a pf instead. I would not spend $350 on something I, A) already have individula movies and a collectors set for, B) half of this is stuff I don't need. I don't need dvd or 3d versions, and C) put the extended scenes IN the freaking movie! I guarantee you a lot of these deleted scenes have gone through post-production sfx and audio mixing. And yet they only give us the green screen versions that are individual scenes in the special features section.

Thanks but no thank WB... I'll pass.

It was hard enough getting through them in the theater. Could not imagine watching 31 discs.

I agree.. no way could I make it thorugh all those.

Why did they have to make the set a Blu-ray/DVD combo set? I don't want the movies on DVD and I have no use for the 3D versions of DH 1&2, so if I buy this set I'm having to pay extra for 10 movie discs I'll never use.

Just ebay the ones you don't want.

Why don't they release part 1 & 2 of the Deathly hallows as one full movie on blue-ray? ..put to use all that memory that's on the disc.

I believe they still havnt released the deleted scenes for most of the movies, including, OOTP and TDH. I doubt they will be in this set and if they can't get the directors to make extended versions, i think it will be a long time before we get to see them, either as special features or in the movies.

I wish WB would stop playing with our emotions like this. They're almost as bad as Lucas :lol

The movie would be too long to fit on one disc and it would affect the PQ and AQ if they did.

But if they gave it to us all NOW, how would then in a few years be able to re-release these in the theaters as extended cuts and then as 3D and then as blu-rays again?

I know. I feel for them. It's quite a predicament to be in :lol

Haha, yeah..

After reading that it's blu-ray AND dvd, I'm over it. I refuse to spend that much to have duplicate discs. And I wont sell them on ebay because I don't like holes in my collection. So, I'll pass.

Ive been thinking about this since I heard about it. I do love big over the top sets. BUT

____ WB with all those DVD's(and those stupid UV "copies". I want to buy a nice big obnoxious set that contains only BLU. I didnt spend for an upgrade to buy DVD'S.

And ____ all those lazy ass Disney parents who are to freakin stupid to teach their kids (kids that are thrown in front of a TV at home and in the car, because they dont want to deal with them. Dont ____ing have them!!) how to respect things that are bought or given to them. If it cost $1 or $100, treat it with respect you ungreatfull little ____s. Im tired of having to pay more for something because Daddy couldn't pull out and Mommy cant stop spreading her legs.

Still never seen any of these movies. Did go on the Universal Studios ride in Orlando, though. It was good ... though a bit motion-sickness inducing. I was pretty ready for it to end when it did. Heh.

I've been thinking of buying a DVD set when I find one under $30. Still, not sure whether I should start at the beginning, or somewhere in the middle when the movies get darker and more grown-up. I'm thinking I might not make it through the whole series if I start with the kiddie movies ... I can't watch 12 hours of movies if I'm rolling my eyes through the first four hours.
