Didnt want a repeat character but I do like this one. I was never that keen on the OOTP bust. This could be a crafty way to end the line...give us a repeat, collectors opt out & GG blame poor sales & have a reason to end the line. Or Im I just too cynical?

I don't think that is what they are doing, although your hypothesis does make total sense. The Harry Potter line has been a slow seller for them for awhile now.

Count me as an opt-outer of this piece, but waiting to see too if anything else comes down the pike.

I didn't wanna say it, but I thought that wand looked like Draco's.... ugh. GG ARE clueless.. I wonder if they'll make Ron and Hermione to go with it....

Didn't Harry have Draco's wand in the 2nd half of the Deathly Hallows?
Maybe that's why it looks like his wand!!!!

I assumed it'd be a Deathly Hallows bust. I thought the wand looked like Draco's which is why I wrote that I'd be disappointed if it were another Harry when the sneak peek was posted.

Just checked out the new offerings over at the GG site. Wow, these have gone up in price. The new mini-bust is $70, while I remember paying only $45 for the first release! That's a lot of inflation. And this new bust doesn't even look as good to me as the older releases.

Ho hum...

If GG made another Hermione I would have been happier.
The one they have is OK,but even Ron has 2 busts.
GG dropped the ball.
I just hope they make other busts to continue the line.

Give me Slughorn, Arthur, Molly, Umbridge, Narcissa & a new Hermione & I'd consider my collection complete. Flitwick, Lockheart, Xenophyillis, Sprout, Yaxley, Kingsley & Scrimgeour would be nice bonuses.....a man can dream

I like this bust. I'll sell the year 5 one and have the first Harry bust, and the last. Nice way to end the line with this one, but i hope they don't. Personally i'd think the line complete if we get an Arthur and Molly. Anything else is a bonus.

The OotP bust is actually pretty good and I think, a better likeness than this one. Guess My Gilderoy Lockehart and Quirrel and Crouch and half a dozen others that would be preferred will never see the light of day.

Agreed. The OOTP bust is pretty good. This one is terrible.

I don't think it's a bad looking bust.. but I do think there's an issue with his glasses. They look a tad too small.

Agreed. The OOTP bust is pretty good. This one is terrible.

From the front it looks weird but from the side he looks great. I'm sure he'll come out looking great. The year 5 one, i don't think looks like him much. Hair's too neat too!
