domesticallly, they will be close to the same with avengers maybe squeeking out a win over harry, but worldwide harry will crush avengers imo.

He's not THE most skilled wizard, though you could argue his potential is limitless. He has proven that he can do magic without a wand (which only the most powerful of wizards can do).
The major theme from the books is fate more then skill. Harry does what he does because its fated basically. Not so much luck as it is predestination.

Now, on a more serious note....how awesome would an actual movie of Harry Potter Vs. Avengers?? Would the killing curse WORK on Hulk? Can Iron Man outfly a broom? Can captain america's shield block a crutiatus curse?? j/k of course!
I think it would be awesome to see the hulk rip Hermionie in two, and Iron Man blast Ron to bits. Basically it would be a movie about the Avengers killing a school full of children....

If this was Avengers vs. a different Potter, like 2 thru 6, Avengers would totally own Harry. However, this is the final Potter movie and they even broke it into two parts, so there's going to be massive buzz for this. I know they say the reason was because there's too much material and they don't want to cut out the subplots...but I call bullcrap on that. They've cut material with the other movies, we know it's all about more $$$ for Warner.
