I have never cried in a game but I do get sad at some parts.
But I think the music plays a big part in that.
But I do seem to get emotionally attached to games I spend a long time on.
Likes of mass effect and oblivion when they are completed I get saddened as I have sat and spent 160 plus hours on one game and what not.

Well has there been? Are you man enough to admit it?

And no I don't mean cry out of anger, I think we've all been there. I have the broken controllers to prove it.

I've played a lot of games that were emotional moving, but I think the one that really got a hold of me was the ending to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

When you play all the way through MGS3 and you get to that point you're a mess.

I havent cried, but i had a lump in my throat when i completed MGS4 and Snake has his gun in his mouth, the camera pans up then you hear the gun shot. Then i got composed and then had to relive it all with Big Boss at the end. I was with a friend though so i dont know what id of been like if i had got there on my own.

Agreed, the Scene and dialogue between Snake and Big Boss at the end of MGS4.
The end of MGS3 when Snake salutes The Boss's grave and the music it plays.
The Beginning of the Last Of Us.
There's a scene in Lost Odyssey that's quite emotional as well.

There's definetly more, just gotta think about it.

Actually cried? No.

Felt legitimately sad or was genuinely moved during a game, yeah, a few times.

Rockstar and Bioware tend to be the best at getting me emotionally invested in a game's characters and story to that degree, but there are a few others that have managed it over the years as well.
