Really I think Maul is a great figure and a lot of fun to pose.
As for R2 I think adding the weathering helped a lot.

Maul is a great figure that looks lackluster in the box. I didn't expect to like him at all, but after opening, he's my 2nd favorite after the trooper. Very fun to pose and play with, more so than any of the other figures.

That may be the difference, cause I agree with the above poster that when I saw Maul on the shelf, I thought he was an easy pass.

Just got myself a Luke and 2 Sandies on ebay. Cant wait :yess:

Is anyone able to take a pic with them next to a neca figure for size comparison at all?

The SandTrooper is exactly 6" tall at the top of the helmet.
Neca's human figure Predator Dutch figure is exactly 7" standing straight up. They are definitely a different scale.

Found a Sandtrooper and Luke X tonight at Target. Love the size but these are way the **** overpriced. And of course, I bought them. I'm only doing ANH and ESB and that's it. Wait 'til they start doing the Cantina aliens at $20 a pop. And all the friggin exclusives. This line will be the downfall of me. It's the beginning of the end...Goodbye all.

Re: Hasbro legends 6" sw figures

I was able to snag R2 at my local Target last night. Then preordered Wave 2 at bbts. Really excited for when they do Jedi Luke. Vader. Chewie.

You think well see oversized creatures in this scale? Taun Taun? Rancor? Dewback?

A 1/12 scale Rancor would be a sight to see.

I'm curious to see how they package the biker scout w/speeder bike, and for that matter any larger figure. And will they continue the same packaging design throughout the line or will it change at some point?

These are questions the MISB collector and OCD in me want to know. :cuckoo:

Just got my R2 today. What a huge disappointment. I knew it didn't look like the proto we were promised, but the actual product is so far away from the proto, it's ridiculous. I'm sure weathering will help, but why would I want to open it if it's ****e? The thickness of the legs also seems way underscaled. Also, his legs are on the wrong sides. The piston area is to the front of his body.

If by "piston" you mean the one at the top of his leg, on the side, it varies from film to film (even from scene to scene in some cases.)

In the end, I think they settled for the pistons in the front. Which, BTW, is how they are on my 6" black series R2.

I was only going to collect character figures from episodes IV-VI. All of the posts/pics everyone has submitted convinced me otherwise. The first Target I went to only had Luke and R2. Went to another Target and picked up Darth Maul. Wal-Mart had nothing but 3.75", Toys 'R Us had a sign up for the 6" figures but none in stock. Went to another Target that had one full case and got my first Sandtrooper. Then went to another Target and found a second Sandtrooper. Might want a third.

I was surprised to see them for $19.99 at Toys 'R Us. Thought they would have raised the price. I pre-ordered wave 2 at BBTS to avoid all of this running around. Though it was exciting to find them in the stores. Contemplating picking up a second set of all of them to keep packaged. The packaging looks great.

Re: Hasbro legends 6" sw figures

Yeah really looking forward to Han and Greedo. Fett was the one I was most excited about but he has dropped a bit.

picked up a sandy today at target..........passed on the rest. i'll pick up a few of this line but see it will be rather easy not to be a completist......:)

Still can't find any Sandys anywhere :( I've been trying pretty steadily for the past week, they are always sold out!

I guess I will have to wake up early and be the first one at the door at Target since the guy said that's my best chance to get one. And I really want three...

I hate wasting gas and time running around for nothing. And I don't see any on Target's website to order -- they have the other three though.

This will prob be the same for the Stormtroopers...

Re: Hasbro legends 6" sw figures

Totally shocked with these 6 inch figures, after seeing the detailed photos and YouTube reviews could not resist. Ordered two cases wave 1- think its 8 figures. Caught a peek at wave 2 the boba and han look great! Now I don't feel the need to spend 100 for the boba with carbonite!
