Nah, I don't agree. When I think about developing a mold (this has a great sculpt), outputting, then other tiny molds for the frog etc., painting - IMO a decent price. He's got a better face than the bigger toy versions that are being put out. If I had a complaint it would be about Mando not having a cloth cape - the vinyl isn't bad, but cloth would be better.

Yeah, I don't feel ripped off...just surprised at how tiny the child AND the box were!

Huttslayer came out of one of the ST novels -Bloodline. Leia is revered by an alien race for killing Jabba. I?m sure it?s Disney?s way of making that outfit more empowering than degrading.

And why would hasbro ever reconsider releasing another Jyn figure? She can still be found on shelves!

Hasbro soft goods....yuck!

All the Kenner soft goods were awesome whether they be the jawa robe, vinyl capes, Jedi Luke cloak, Squid Head's skirt, etc. How the hell do ALL of Hasbro's soft goods suck even at larger scales?? Every farm boy Luke they've ever released with soft goods has looked absolutely terrible.

I love the Kenner soft goods! I think it's probably because the overall quality and realism of the figure was 1970s quality so the soft goods was a cute addition that didn't take away from the overall effect of the figure.

Well the completely unsubstantiated claims that Disney "will never allow another Slave Leia collectible to be released" can finally be laid to rest as Hasbro Pulse has a poll up for fans to vote on a Black Series Archive figure for 2021 and look who's on it (though they call her "Princess Leia Organa - Huttslayer", lol):

All of those are much needed upgrades. Hopefully they all get released at some point.

Well all the RO sculpts are really good, they just have the worse paint apps of the line. The photoreal on those would kill.

I think it's more likely that they're going to simply ignore all the Ahsoka votes and move second place to winner while announcing that she was releasing anyway.

This vote is only for one figure though yeah? I'd think they would at least go with top three to release. Seems a bit trivial to go through all this hooplah for just one fig.

I find is utterly hilarious that everyone wants Slave Leia now. Stores couldn't give that figure away, and you're joking yourself if the figure will be updated beyond the paint apps. It'll still look like a Frankenstein creation with all the joints.

Gotta admit the box etc. are TINY. Might try to find a tiny SHINY bead for the ball. Which is too tiny to take out of package.:cool

The Rogue One line basically kept me from buying Black Series figures for almost a year and a half, Jyn was SO bad. Awful paint and the most rubbery plastic out of basically anything in my collection. I remember Amazon was selling them for like $15 before the movie even came out; I swear Hasbro went super cheap on production for those.

I?m curious how much they really can improve Slave Leia because that old figure ouch.

If she looks like the upcoming ML Storm then it would be a huge improvement.

I picked up the Black series Bespin Luke and the Retro Bespin Luke. I don't like the card art for the Black Series figure though. I am sure they wanted a different picture than the retro figure but if they were going to do it they should have used the later release Kenner art instead. The new art looks stretched out especially on the lightsaber. Computer generated art give Luke the Uncanny Valley look.
