Re: Hasbro's rumored New Falcon!

i have seen it up and in person and out of the box.this falcon is huge. hasbro really protects it by put a huge card board material box around it. kind of like the cartons that protect eggs.that is what is inside the gigantic box ..

Re: Hasbro's rumored New Falcon!

Holy crap, TRU even has it here in the Netherlands...VERY tempted to pick it up, but not for the ridicilous price of 200 euros. I mean, really, when this thing costs $150 in the States? It'd be a LOT cheaper to just import the damn thing!:monkey4

Modded Hasbro Millennium Falcon Can Pass for Real Movie Prop

I totally am going to have to do this to my BMF Falcon:

"Giz reader Peter Clute saw the impressive Hasbro Millennium Falcon and instead of just buying it to play and go all pew-pew with it, he decided to make it better, painting new wear and tear details, and adding a motion sensor and infrared sensor, and a load of extra LEDs. The results are impressive:"

Re: Modded Hasbro Millennium Falcon Can Pass for Real Movie Prop

That is freaking awesome. I think that looks better then the MR Studio Scale falcon.

Re: Modded Hasbro Millennium Falcon Can Pass for Real Movie Prop

Awesome! Wish I had that kind of talent!

Re: Modded Hasbro Millennium Falcon Can Pass for Real Movie Prop

That is truly a Master Replica! Even though its Hasbro, hehe.

:D

Re: Modded Hasbro Millennium Falcon Can Pass for Real Movie Prop

Very cool super-detailing!

But there's no hiding that oversized cockpit section and the undersized "mandibles".

Still, an excellent and well done project.

Re: Modded Hasbro Millennium Falcon Can Pass for Real Movie Prop

Well, the paint job is excellent, but those proportions will always show it up...

Maybe to a person who doesn't know Star Wars like we do...

Re: Modded Hasbro Millennium Falcon Can Pass for Real Movie Prop

As someone who owns the MR falcon, I'm going to have to say that this doesn't quite measure up, and not only because the proportions are all wrong. It still looks pretty toy-like in many shots.

That's not to take anything away from what he's done, which is amazing.

Re: Modded Hasbro Millennium Falcon Can Pass for Real Movie Prop

Yeah, the proportion thing does muck it up a bit, but the oversizedcockpit is nowhere near as glaring as the original Kenner Falcon, and I think it's an acceptable compromise to get the cockpit big enough to hold four 1:18 figures.

A true scale 1:18 Falcon would be about five feet long I believe, that is, if the Attakus Falcon is accurately scaled....

The MR Falcon is amazing, no doubt... but for a Hasbro Falcon, this is really really stunning. Friggin' awesome.

Re: Modded Hasbro Millennium Falcon Can Pass for Real Movie Prop

Yeah i was looking to do the same with a Boba fett slave 1 and a Falcon also. It cant be that hard as long as you can paint... I want to get an older flacon though because the new one is just too big!

Re: Modded Hasbro Millennium Falcon Can Pass for Real Movie Prop

Damn thats a great upgrade, so are those little unleashed figures correct scale to the falcon.
