No body laughs. Largely because I am unstable and lash out violently. My friends are understanding and know I take my collection seriously. What gets said behind my back is another story I am sure.

However, my wife laughs at me all the time, ^^^^er!

I laugh at you, not your collection.

None of my friends or family laugh at my collection. Most think it's pretty cool.

All of my family laughs and thinks its retarded apart from 1 cousion who one ordered a sideshow figure that never arrived to him. :lol:lol

They say I should be spendng my money on something else and buying something useful.
But hell I have to money and its mine. If something appeals to me I'm buying it. :rock

Screw your friends , its your life , buy what you want .

Most of them probably secretley think its awesome anyway , they just either have't got the patience or are too scard of what others might think getting into this hobby.

i dont have any family and i only have a couple friends. i also have no stress or headaches. coincidence? if your friends call you a loser for what you collect i'd grab 'em by the neck. seriously. maybe that's why i dont have many friends.:lol

Almost everyone collects something, even if it's dust, so I just throw that into their faces if they say anything. My brother calls my collectibles "knicky-knacks" but I just bring up all his trains he has. He has 50 of the same exact N gauge coal car. And he's into nascar too. I only have work friends now because most of my good friends have moved away. None of them care what I do.

From friends, no...but my wife gives me more than enough crap to make up for everyoen else NOT doing so :lol

The few co-workers who have seen my collections have been pretty impressed.

My collection is mostly props and everyone doesn't seem to think anything of it. But now that a few 1/6 figures are being added, I guess I'll have to see what the new reaction is. I figure it's all in how your stuff is displayed

Friends...family...girlfriend...pretty much everyone I know who isn't a collector thinks I am such a nerd. I never got into Star Wars or Star Trek or anything so that helps a bit with some of them.

Nope. They all get a kick out of it.

Sometimes my wife will show her friends my collection to tease me a bit, but they end up liking it.

The only thing I get is "I sure hope that wasn't too expensive, because with this economy we all gotta be very careful." Other then that I usually get compliments on my stuff.

My wife and Mother-in law like to show off my collection more then I do. Sometimes it drives me nuts... but most like some part of it.

I think we all have experienced friends that criticizes your interest. That just shows how little respect they have for other people`s interests.

Whatever you interests are,its something you enjoy and no one should take that away from you, they have their own hobbies which i wouldnt criticize because i know it makes them happy.

Who would laugh at this ------

Honestly no, most people think that the replicas and props are cool; if anything PFs need a touch of explaining that they are not just large poseable dolls.

I'm pretty sure one the Berserker hits and is proudly displayed holding a decapitated head, the whole idea of "dolls" will go out the window.
