I think Kate is up there with Yelena. These 2 will have a huge chunk of the fanbase IMO.

Problem is they are baiting people like me that only care about Kingpin/Daredevil/other Defenders into watching Hawkeye or Echo. Funny how fast stuff can make it to the internet on Twitter or Youtube so I've been able to skip out on Hawkeye so far.

See I'm the reverse, I actually have been a Hawkeye fan forever and tuned in for him. I stayed because lil Kate is such a babe. But I do genuinely enjoy the show, it reminds me of a 90s Disney family holiday movie but with a bunch of action, I don't mind the comedy in this at all.

But it's just weird to me that instead of things like a new Daredevil show, we are getting the "tumbler approved" Daredevil bootleg. Instead of a Dr Strange movie of just him and maybe some of his DS-specific supporting cast from the vast majority of his comic runs, we are getting a movie with some goofball lesbian girl power chick. This is an instance where I don't like the cross pollination; leave the solo movies specific to the character and THEIR lore, and keep the teamups for the...uh...team movies.

Yeah, I'm in the same camp where we are getting some C list power characters that I'd prefer to not have in there. To be fair, she could be a good piece to compliment the story and journey, but I won't be fooled that it probably a diversity insertion and to build for some Young Avengers squad. I actually prefer to have a cool team-up like this Spider-Man movie with Strange. But I don't prefer some whiny teenager for Strange to drag around and constantly explain stuff too. Strange and Wong is a good enough team for me. They have sling rings, why do they need Chavez?

I'd like to enjoy it all, but it's not like I enjoyed everything in the Infinity Saga. Marvel is going way deeper into the rosters where it really is not as appealing characters, but it brings in some minority viewers and builds up for another possible squad. Maybe it could play out like the Marvel animated Avengers show where the main squad gets nullified by Kang and they need a backup team to come together to free them and stop Kang.

The 90's had Spider-Man, X-Men and Batman and that was pretty much it.

Hair down Yelena is smoking hot especially with that sexy accent. She can be scary as BW great job by her. Did I mention smoking hot lol

Kate actress is pretty but she looked plain next to FP!

Great BLIP representation one of the best so far.

Best onscreen Ronin moment so far better than EG Ronin!

Big reveal at the end still made me happy even though we all had guessed it already, now that’s how you build up to a big reveal i’m looking at you Wanda Vision!

Ok with that out of the way here goes.

What was turning out to be one of my favorite episodes so far in all of the MCU series was completely RUINED by a stupid artificial girl power moment!



Ronin had deaf Pocahantos down for the count he beat her down appropriately so as THE RONIN would and just for a stupid dual girl power moment they had her miraculously, and unrealistically I might add, get the upper hand on Ronin, wut!

Then the double girl power wammy happened by them having Kate save Ronin from Echo!

The worst part is that it wasn’t needed everything was perfectly set up there was no reason for them to do it they could’ve brought Kate back to Hawkeye in a completely different manner there was no reason to emasculate him like that he could’ve still been a bad *** and get his message across to Echo and show Kate meeting up with him.

Episode RUINED!

Ronin did not want to kill Maya, but Maya wanted to kill Ronin. That difference meant Maya was always going to have the upper hand in that instance.

My take on Kate's intervention was that it allowed Ronin to get away easily before doing something he might regret. After offering mercy to be 'surprised' countered in that manner with CLINT (for a-dev) on the backfoot would have probably defaulted him over to kill mode with the safety gloves off to neutralise her quickly.
