I just realized…is this it for awhile with the MCU series shows..isn’t the next two months or so strictly SW ..Fett and Obi Wan

I don’t know when Echo is supposed to come out

Wait, when is Obi-Wan out? I didn’t think that was out for another six months?

Good thing that
Yelena didn't kill Hawkeye since that would have completely defeated the purpose of Nat sacrificing herself to spare him.
Good catch. I really felt in that fight that Yelena knew deep down that Clint didn't kill her sister, but she needed someone to blame. Also potentially, I do not think at that point she had accepted the fact that her sister had
sacrificed herself to bring her (Yelena) back.

Learning that Yelena was dusted really put Nat's sacrifice into perspective and also why she couldn't move on from the blip.

Really? then what’s after BoBF..oh maybe Andor or something else ..but I’m pretty sure there is no MCU second season of any of the their shows yet :dunno

Unacceptable lol so I just checked:
Obi Wan - 2022, no firm date yet, possibly 1st half of next year.
Andor - Appears to be second half 2022

Re MCU it looks like the following shows are all next year, no firm dates for any yet:
Ms. Marvel
Moon Knight
She-Hulk
What...If? S2
The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special
Secret Invasion

Films are Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (May), Thor: Love and Thunder (July) and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (Nov), although BP2 has had various delays so who knows with that one.

Like this year Disney will probably publish a calendar in the new year for the approximate release dates.

I googled it as well..although there is that laundry list you referenced …there is no set date on any of them

They said Ms Marvel is closet they want to happen but there isn’t any definitive release date yet.

So it sounds like we may have a hiatus from D+ MCU which is kind of disappointing because I’ve gotten so used to them and now it looks like we won’t know the seeable future of the D+ MCU so SW might saturate the D+ in 2022 for the most part :thud:

They are probably holding back to see how the pandemic affects theaters again. The MCU series ties into the movies so the series will follow the movie releases. It looks like at the very least, Ms Marvel has done filming and She Hulk is probably close as well.

For some reason the release dates for the D+ shows are held onto until a few months before release. Not sure why, perhaps covid rescheduling, creative rescheduling and maybe quarterly earnings strategy.

Nonetheless, it is lining up IMO for next year as
Book of Boba
She Hulk
Kenobi
Moon Knight
Andor
Werewolf by Night rumor
Ms Marvel - pushed back to lineup w delayed The Marvels movie
GOTG Holiday Special
Mando S3

What if..? and Loki are both confirmed for a S2 but no release date. Cap is getting a movie, WV sounded like just an event. I am going to guess that Secret Invasion is 2023 (filming now) and Echo hasn't started filming yet. No clue on What if...? S2 date.

Me too. For a good part of this year, the kids and I could just tune in for some good escapist MCU fun.

Cute.

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas/Holiday time. Rewatched the final episode to see how that final fight played out again, and I stick by my original assertion there.

I read the excuses as to why Hawkeye got manhandled by Yelena - tired, depressed, etc. I still don't buy it. Kate just survived a hand-to-hand fight with Kingpin, who was just shown to be strong enough to rip off car doors and send her flying across the room with a swat. All of Hawkeye's fights in this episode were handled easily, even the fight with Kazi he remarked "that was fun" afterwards.

I get that he misses Natasha, but we already are well aware of that going into this show. It doesn't need to be harped on every time we see Hawkeye moving forward post-EG.

I enjoyed his badass moments throughout the show and I've praised them each week, but a six-episode only show, where Hawkeye finally gets his due, I don't want his final fight of the show seeing him getting a straight up beatdown from a just-introduced character who just had a movie.

Anyways, loved the show, and LOVED the arrow construction loadout scene from the finale, almost forgot about that one! Hope to see Kate again sooner than later, and preferably with Hawkeye, their chemistry is perfect.

Same, I think someone floated the idea of Hawkeye moving to the Nick Fury type role and I think that could be cool. Now it's waiting for Moon Knight!

Yeah, this really sucks. It sounds like he got run over by the Snowcat that he was using to plow. Not sure if that's what happened, or even how ... but damn.
It's giving me awful flashbacks to my son's accident 8 years ago. Glad to hear he's at least "stable".

Yeah I’m constantly seeing critical but stable. Two operations, it seems it run over his legs but there was also damage to his chest and he lost a lot of blood. I can’t remember ever checking up on someone’s condition quite so much. Despite his weirdo social media presence I’ve always really loved his acting work every since Hurt Locker.
