Did you use heat? Did you get a replacement head, and if so, what was wrong with your first?

I ask because I requested a replacement head as well, tomorrow will be day 4 of no reply email.

I sent them my pics 4 days ago also and have heard nothing yet. I am requesting a head also and a partial refund for bad paint.

Noticed this morning that my base has the scuffs on it, as well

Yeah I think this is the sloppiest base I have seen from Sideshow, but since it is black, it isn't a hard fix.

i have been getting damaged shipments since last year , mostly potraits , like hair broken, broken cigar, etc, one in 2 shipments were arriving damaged(im in India) and was going through a torrid time asking for replacements, I used to be jealous coming on this forum and seeing everyone arriving fine but nitpickking about thins like paint job and other things which i mostly overlook ,lol
Im wondering though why the damages are increasing recently,SPiderwoman, Baroness.. every statue has been breakage issues, has it to do with casting in inferior polystone??

Your point about the polysotone is a good one. Sideshow is obviously trying to save costs on supplies by going with less material just look at the HULK and Rhino threads. Perhaps they will start to see that the saving on material is not worth the cost of replacment parts and up the quality of there pieces.

On a brighter note I love the look of this piece. Didn't get one myself but congrats on those who did.

Maybe I am just over excited due to the long wait but now that he is posed with my other classic Avengers I feel almost giddy.
Really looking forward to Scarlet Witch next month and then the Vision. Sideshow please bring on Ant-Man and Wasp.
It is a great time to be a life long Avengers fan.

That's a character I definitely want in my collection. Ant-Man & Dare Devil are my 2 most anticipated PF's for SS to announce that there making.

I'm not buying Scarlet or Vision but there going to look great in an Avengers setup. Congrats Whammo

Hawkeye PF arrived today. I inspected it . So far not cracks,flaws, or mispaint. I will be sure look more closely in the daylight tomorrow.

Storm PF to arrive tomorrow. I hope she arrives in great shape too!!

Well my replacement arrived today. I mentioned that I was a little disappointed with the return process this time.

I got a new box, number 17 again. That was nice, as it was the lowest number I'd ever received. Didn't expect them to give me the same number.

Quality stickers were falling off the art box and the styrofoam box... looks like they inspected it before sending. Too bad the box is torn, but I just store boxes, so I didn't really care.

Renumbered base... cool

Inspection begins... pleather border on loin cloth looks good, not cracked, was not bent in the box

Clean paint apps, no missing paint on the arms, no blotches on the neck or head, bow hand is perfect

Super pleased...

Thank you Daniel and the SS customer service team. You all really came through for me... again!

I was actually looking at these Bestas when i first started out but never got round to researching it properly...was too busy buying statues!
