Does that happen? I have to re-read that then. Cause from what I understand, he was supposed to have died in the first episode. He gets wounded in that melee and Arya leaves him to die. And if it means anything, she unconsciously leaves the hound's name out in her list-of-people-to-kill death prayer.

Again, going by wiki, I thought it was quite explicit that it was...Actually, I think the book gives you a couple clues too as to who is involved.
