Just like the fantasy figures based on Luis Royo's art sometimes the artist is the reason enough. I understood your comment about nobody character but these are a nice different line. I will be getting the one by Simon Bisley.

those go for 30-40% discount at resellers unless you want the exclusive print... all hcg statues do...

Don't have a game. Buy what I can, keep what I want, sell what I need to so I can keep what I want..
Can see this for say $200, but not the $300 plus they tagged it with.
Of course, I do understand the Artist angle.. Not familiar with him, that is why to me she's not worth the price tag...
From another angle though - Sideshow 1/4 scale are priced at 299 and up, so maybe, considering the artist, it is a good price.
Ah, I give up.

Considering she's 20" tall, I'd say it wasn't a bad price. Heavy Metal is responsible for introducing comic world to some great sciFi writers and fantasy artist. As an alternative to the mainstream statues I thing HCG is doing a great thing putting out these statues. As you said buy what you want

I don't really know much about Heavy Metal magazines but this could be one of those statues I have to get because its just so amazingly SEXY! One of my fantasies in life is about sexy dominatrix cops! My friends are going to go nuts when they see this!

Heavy Metal Magazine is pretty much an adult illustrated Magazine and has brought Sci Fi,Erotica,Fantasy and comics together.With artists like Simon Bisley,Hajime Sorayama,Luis Royo and Alex Horley who are all excellent artists when it comes to the Female form.
Alex Horley's Cybercop was one of the HM Mag covers in 2003.And was combined with a comic oriented story in the Mag.
It will be nice to see how the Simon Bisley finished piece turns out.These could be quite nice.
At www.hollywood-collectible.com up for pre-order Heavy Metal Cybercop 1:4 scale $329. Exclusive is a print of the original artwork.Limited to only 250 Pieces.
a few pieces of original art.. Alex Horley Wonder Woman sketch.And 2 original paintings by Luis Royo both were covers for Penthouse Comics.The Red Head is Titled Hurricane and The Batgirl is titled Vuelos Negros.
SDCC showed that the Statue thing is huge so we will probably see a lot more Erotica and Fantasy pieces being made.
