I don’t want to support recasts at all.

You put all that hard work in and on the chance it turns out good, it’s still on a recast sculpt which I’d prefer not to be tied to, even if I don’t sell it.

I’ll get a technique down on one or two real sculpts painting + stripping a few times instead.

I need Wonder socks but it’d be hilarious to ask the price and pay that shipping fee for only socks but I can’t think of anything else I need from him.

I believe Holo did receive the Aries suit.
I thought she was off onto another project now.

Any word further on the Yunsil 2.0 run?
No interest in a 1:4.

$1k is a lot for a 2.0 run without knowing the time frame or seeing a proper sample from Yunsil. I haven’t talked to the new run organizer at all.

I assumed that run was cancelled, having not gathered enough interest. But who knows. I certainly don't care for a Yunsil Joker run. I'm seldom impressed by her work. I don't have faith she can deliver for such a complex character no less.

I did. Not sure if I posted a picture of it or not but I got it while I was in the middle of moving so didn't have time to really get into it. Same for Wonder's full set. Both are still boxed up in the closet. From what I briefly saw though, I wasn't much fan of how she did the purple coat. I'll check later tonight and try to post some pictures.

Okay some quick of the box shots and comparisons between the two. Aries on the left and Wonderworld on the right. No futzing or anything on either of them. The wonderworld set is on the body that they included. Aries is just the outfit. Should find a spare body to put that one on. Anyone have any recommendations?

Upon second glance, I'm actually impressed with how thin Aries got the blazer to be, especially in comparison to Wonder's. @Nick D Curious to hear your thoughts and from everyone else. I'm not liking Wonder's purple coat the more I see it in comparison but Aries's coat also has weird aspects to it, like the way she did the wrist on the sleeves. Just looks odd but I do like the edge stitching that she did on the lapel. A detail that's usually missing on purple coats.

I'll probably pick and choose parts between these two + INART's to build my final purple coat version with John's V1 sculpt. Leftovers will go onto a Prison version with INART's body and hands + John's V2 sculpt.

If I can find a body for Aries's outfit, I'll do a better comparison with them futz'd up.

How do you like her waistcoat?
I was interested in it because it’s well made,
one of my favorite pieces from her set but the lack
of pattern on the back threw me off of it.

I like how thin her blazer is also,
but I think Wonder’s is closer in material and color.

Her pants are definitely better than Wonder’s,
they almost look as good as the Yunsil pants (best we’ve gotten so far).

I don’t like either purple coat as well,
neither hit the mark regarding material or shape.
The best purple coats imo would be Kato V2, Yunsil with real button swap and now JND. All need to be dyed.

Overall, from your two suits + InArt,
if you were to ask which parts I’d use it’d be -

InArt is one I’d steer clear of, the material is completely off. Topo 2.0 is a good alternative if you don’t have any of the custom offerings and would prefer to not invest the money to obtain them.

Awesome info here. How would you rank the purple coats in terms of cut though? Everything I've read about the topo is that its way too big. I'm a fan of the wonder coat but was curious on your rankings for cut.

Once again, InArt at the bottom of the pile. So sad.

The material they chose was unlike anything we’ve ever seen, that includes custom and mass production.

It’s just so far off the mark, I understand suede is tricky to get correct in the scale, but ultimately the coat needs to be.

These other materials that InArt, Aries and Wonder used, just don’t cut it.

From the entire InArt set, the things that bother me the most are the purple coat and shoes.

The shoes are massive and have a cartoon flare to them aesthetically, not how they flare up, but just the look of them. No detail, incorrect shape.
