I kind of want a Dino tie. But then I ask myself.. what's the point?

The socks/tie would be the last additions to wrap up a perfect Joker. But if the rest of the figure isn't up to snuff, then that tiny nuance won't amount to much for me.

Right?

Bigger fish to fry before I start fixating on the pattern of the tie.

Every part contributes to the overall look. His ties are only $35 and the shipping isn't too bad either.

$22 usd. I paid $92 for two ties, but if you need a lot of ties it’s probably best to bulk buy them.

For shoes I’d recommend Por.toys. I don’t think it was a limited release, so they should still have them.

Completely.

It just happens to be the best we’ve gotten outside of Yunsil’s. I want something with the accurate pattern.

I understand it’s a very small surface for printing,
but I think he could do a little more here.

Blacks more vivid along with the greens, golds having a more efficient fade effect.
The pattern just isn’t there with his.
Possible material upgrade too? Not sure.

For a $45 tie, the pattern should look closer.

I'm very much down for an updated tie, on account of that being a collective endeavour by the bunch of us. Like a symbolic gesture for the group.

I like the idea that all the separate parts of my Joker can tell a story of their own. Like the detonator I won in Will's giveaway. The Inart bits that mark an important milestone / transition in the 1/6 scale world. The por toys shoes that turned my life into an absolute nightmare. Or the custom sculpt that encompasses the true craftsmanship of this scale, I dreamed up owning in my early years of collecting.

Let's do it.

There are parts I could keep in the long term. I like the sturdy body. The hand sculpts are solid (could use a better paint though). I love the round pedestal base with the splash of purple color. The cards. The diecast M76 (maybe add some light weathering).

Or I may end up swapping all of those.
Who knows. It's never a done deal with Joker. It's a constant work in progress.

Looking at your reference, I can see there's room for improvement. Maybe @xXJ0kerXx1 can put in a word for us?

The tie makes the most sense. But yeah, it could be anything really. The simpler, the more feasible.

An oscar trophy? Not sure about that.

I’m still coping with whether or not I’m going to receive this $450 coat refund come New Year. Perhaps if that clears up easily I’ll be more enthusiastic about future Ledger clothing.

I am still interested and have the notes to make it happen, just need a tailor who isn’t out to take advantage of us for $3K but also listen to the input like initially agreed upon during preproduction. Perhaps one day that would be a fun one to tackle.
