We got a discount for V2 because it's a variant so it's fair that owner of the first version gets some kind of advantage.

This one is a completely different one so I doubt it.

Yup, but returning/old customers often get some privileges. Most Chinese customs artists often do that. So I was wondering if we get even more lucky with this one

The plan was to use it on my unmasked Bank Robber but since I got a second xXx smilling for that I'll use it to do a mob scene Joker which I don't have yet.

You mean this new neutral one? Yess it would look great with a pose like this.

Yes that was the initial plan, right now I'm not sure it's doable or not.
He's looking for solutions from what I understand.

We'll have to wait and see.

I'll be honest, it lacks personality, for me. I know the point is neutral, but Joker wasn't too neutral of a character. I think it would benefit from an attitude -- squinted brow, slightly upturned lower lip as if studying you, I don't know just a little something...

I don't usually care for neutral sculpts in general, so...

I get what you mean, I think the painting, a good rooting job and the eye placement will help giving this more personality. That's what i'm counting on personally.

Like you said the point of this one is to be neutral so I don't think that will change.

Hopefully the next one will suits you better, if he goes on with his current plan then it will be quite a unique expression to have with plenty of personality in my opinion.

Definitely, and I was just thinking about that. A side-eyed glance would give it a good look.

I completely agree. I thought the rolling eyes could grant it some much needed character, but if that's off the table, that's a substantial setback.

I certainly appreciate the work and I think it's a great sculpt (John sculpted this himself, right?). I'm sure this will turn out great, especially when
he's painted and rooted it, but at this stage I feel I'm all set with my two sculpts. If I'm to grab another, it would have to he something special. Like that sleepy V1.

What John wanted to do is an expression from the "Hit me !" scene but not the usual angry looking Joker, he wants his expression when he turns around to look at Batman who crashed on the truck.

I say "wanted" because I'm not him and I'm not in his head so I can't tell for certain that's what he's going to do next, but as far as I'm aware it's the plan.

So for the Neutral sculpt he used V1 as a base and he asked Cass to modify it and turn it into a brand new sculpt from my understanding.
He might have helped or tweaked it himself, but that I don't know for certain.

The rolling eyes are not off the table, it needs more research to find the best way to do it.
Not an easy task but John is up for the challenge.
We'll see how it goes.

Well, there's the furrowed brow and upturned lower lip I mentioned.

Could definitely be a unique look. Might also work for that look Joker gives right before he says "you remind me of my father".

Aaron is a fine actor.
He doesn't get enough credit. Not just for his role in the film, but his career didn't take off the way you'd expect.

I wish they pushed the look further. Made it more grotesque. Maybe the rating wouldn't allow it. But Nolan didn't seem to want that either.

Maybe wait for HT's 3.0 Dent (maybe Artisan).

Not sure how many people want to build a custom Two-Face that will be near a grand. And there's still no accurate suit available, is there?
