He’s got this up for sale now, $620 shipped.

yeah.. i dont think so

i personally don't think his ledgers are good. the paint seems too flat in the sense that it looks cartoony. same for how he paints the eyes. they don't scream life like. even his nancy 5.0 sculpt he painted up and sold off never looked good to me— partially due to eye position but more or less the paint. the hair is decent

(I liked his regan though but anything remotely human is a no-go when it comes to him painting stuff up

artists need good direction and I specifically try to avoid his parameters and going with what works best for the sculpt when asking black what I wanted

the expression itself is weird but I can see it MAYBE working with the right paint

he's just like good luck studio and darco. they started off with shoddy paint but improved since, especially good luck. if you're gonna paint, you gotta be good at painting eyes compared to the rest

I don't think he's anywhere close to the top guys.. but I also thought his pricing was supposed to reflect that.

I don't know. Maybe we got spoiled by John's pricing, but there's no way I'd choose this guy over John, especially not for $200 more.

John broke the scale of prices in the custom world, especially with the Joker.

Mus is overpriced but he's still a good artist and a great guy to work with ! He offers a free paint and hair fixing service for life, that's pretty good.

the pricing isnt obscene, just the work within that price bracket, you can get a whole lot better from john for less

250usd already goes into the cost of the sculpt alone so you're left with 400~ going into paint and hair which isn't obscenely bad
