His prices for painting and rooting went up slightly, now it's 270$.
So it would be 300+270$ but I don't think that's the final price for the sculpture, we have to wait for when he's ready to announce it.

$270 is a good deal, hope he doesn’t jump to $400+ as Heise is no longer retiring.
270$ is his pricing for 2025.

I don't know about the future, but right now he plans on keeping his price fair.

We don't deserve someone with his mindset... But I wish we had more like him in this community.

I think he's a great guy with great values, and that's one of the reason I support him as much as I can.
I appreciate him as an artist and a human now, and I want to give something back.

We do deserve that mindset, it’s paint and hair.
Not even realistic skin tones, we’re talking about white face paint here.

I honestly should start painting Ledger Jokers for people as I have the talent to do it and there’s money to be made. One thing I’m uncertain on, is rooting hair because I have yet to attempt it from scratch, but my eye for perfection won’t allow me to leave it as a bad inaccurate job, for myself mostly but also for others.

Yelim charges $500 for her paintwork and she is the best of the best with the best precision painting skin tones and eyes.

Well if you do get started at some point I wish you all the success Nick !
I appreciate that brother.

I just don’t know if I like the hobby
enough to devote myself to that workload.

One thing is for certain,
if I were to, not a single person would
receive a product I deem unsatisfactory.

Every single one would be to Nick’s standards, period.

thats nothing compared to black and yuan's prices or even owen

might be interested in this sculpt just to display on its own. no plans to put it on a body yet but I've been meaning to want to get something from john that isn't a recast work

all it takes is one bad customer to really ruin your mood lol I've thought about doing run projects but ill just keep it to close friends even if it means paying more. don't need head cases to be in my life breathing over my neck 24/7

people who know me, know what they're already dealing with already

They reached a ceasefire thankfully. Hope all remains well and things can go back to "normal" fast. The strikes came really close to my house, more than a few times I thought that might be it..

I'll give it a month before I get things moving back on track.

I've been considering John's new sculpt for a Jail cell figure. I've not seen him style the hair this way before. Would be interesting to see him try.

I already have the diorama. However I would have to find a new Inart body to use the seamless forearms. Maybe a new shirt as well, as I really don't like Inart's.

Over it, over the hobby just about.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the feeling. I've been scammed a handful of times. I'm usually more careful, but it's unavoidable sometimes.

I know you spoke highly of Jaggz in the past, and he's acting unprofessional now. Goes to show, you can't hold anybody to a decent standard in this hobby.

I think you'll get your money back. Even if it takes a struggle. At least partially.

"patiently waiting Joker" though... so many more active, aggressive looks.

For most applications, I actually agree. Maybe that's what put me off the sculpt initially. But the "patiently waiting" expression is kinda PERFECT for a jail cell setup. Something sinister about it. Not only because it matches the scene, but it also fits the circumstance.

For the purple suit, the open mouth expression works better... But I also like that sculpt because it's "unusual". It's unique. Has an added sense of realism. Like he's captured in motion as opposed to the "stillness" you see in most sculptures.

He broke the scale.

Now Jagzz is saying to give him till the end of December, we’ll see.

An honest man would throw my $450 back quickly and quietly on the original promised date and wash their hands like a gentleman, not prolong it expecting more patience out of someone who believed in your project from day one.

Yep, months ago, and have followed up multiple times. He is waiting on someone to take my spot which will never happen.

I even gave him the ability to split my refund in half, sending $225 twice over a couple of weeks, still zero funds received.

He told me to give him till the end of October, oh look, it’s about to be December.

Over it, over the hobby just about.
I’m on the same boat, only difference was I paid a deposit instead of what I assume it’s the full price. Was told multiple times to wait just a bit longer. The latest being that the coat would be done in December and that he has a buyer who would buy it.

Should I just reach out to my bank to get my money back? Feel like I have been more than reasonable…

If you still can then yes.
Unfortunately people nowadays can’t be trusted, especially online. I’m not calling him a scammer, but he’s keeps on delaying refunds with imo lame excuses.

He didn’t deliver what was promised so it’s more than reasonable for people to get a refund.

He straight up told me he wouldn't refund me earlier this year for something I bought from him, he told me he couldn't because he spent the money on another project.

I needed the money for something important but to avoid him destroying my reputation by doing a dispute on paypal I just accepted the item anyways and found another solution.

He offered to sell the item at some point but he barely tried... So I gave up.
He did give me something with it for free.

Not 100% bad but still one of the worst experience I had related to custom.
