When I first reached out about a refund he tried to act like I didn’t have it fully paid off so I had to dig up screenshots of my payment showing I did indeed send him $450 USD.

Unfortunately for myself,
that was over a year ago, August and September ‘23. So I’m out of luck with PayPal if he doesn’t come through on this.

Why spit in peoples faces that were eager to help move the project in the right direction with every possible coat detail laid out in such extensive detail. He had everything handed to him with zero effort on his part.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the feeling. I've been scammed a handful of times. I'm usually more careful, but it's unavoidable sometimes.

I know you spoke highly of Jaggz in the past, and he's acting unprofessional now. Goes to show, you can't hold anybody to a decent standard in this hobby.

I think you'll get your money back. Even if it takes a struggle. At least partially.
I agree. I was talking to my gf about this the other night. Tired of being scammed in the custom world along with not really knowing what's going to happen to the run or project manager over the course of project. Dealing with that right now with Ca1 who posted on IG that he's shipping out the YMA Bond suits yet has not responded to me at all about when he's shipping mine. Sort of over it by now with customs.

The only things I can see in my future right now are the potential YMA/Yuan Indy 2.0 set that's supposed to be more accurate than the 1.0 (not sure when that's happening though) and then to potentially send my InArt and HT Artisan Joker sculpts to John. I know there are better sculpts out there, but I like the stock sculpts enough to not want to pay for a new sculpt(s)+paint/hair work. If those turn out well enough (which I'm sure they will), I may send him my Craig Bond sculpts to paint as well. Not sure how good he is with "regular" heads compared to his Joker work though.

I had it with customs some time ago, sorry to see it hasn't changed much... just much longer wait times. I thought 2 years was bad, but 4 years on some now. I could go through college in that time.
Yeah.

I’m not convinced he’s going
to run off on me, but the avoidance and unprofessionalism is a real issue.

If we’re to want to join a custom run, we’re expected to be professional and send prompt payments with all of the fees accounted for on our own behalf.

Yet when an issue arises,
that same professionalism isn’t reciprocated.

You get free shipping, so that's nice.

Wonder when John will have the new
sculpt painted up, hope it reminds me of this.

I take it he’ll likely send one to
Heise ahead of orders to paint also?

He's painting the main sample himself this time I think.

When ? I don't know, all I know is that it is booked.
.
It will most likely have the prison makeup as it's inspired by the picture @Scout Trooper posted, but I could be wrong.

Man Vito knocks the hair out of the park.
Could be darker but that’s proper.

Can’t wait to get this sculpt,
wish I could get him to root the hair.

Heise paint + Vito Hair is killer.

That looks good great...
I agree with you, a little darker and it would be perfect.

Why even set out and make a $450 coat that you won't even commit to making special? Considering there's an abundance of cheaper and better alternatives...

I never had faith in that project.

I don’t know if I necessarily had any either.

I suppose I just tried to do everything on my part to see to it the details were laid out and seen. But yeah, way too expensive without being anywhere good enough.
