I have my last spot of 2025 with John that doesn't have an headsculpt assigned to...
I was thinking of getting a second xXx smilling but this time with clean makeup and use it on my unmasked Bank Robber.

What do you guys think ?

I'm not a huge fan of having 2 of the same sculpture in my collection but I feel like they are both different enough that it would work.View attachment 743862
Personally I would wait. See what other custom sculpts are done between now and before he has u for scheduled in 2025 (im assuming Nov 25 or Dec 25)

Knowing YOU and there always new ledger joker sculpts each yr, patience is your best bet to see what is available before committing to same sculpt now.

Only way I would commit to same sculpt is IF I was unsatisfied with it (u would sell it off) & wanted it completely done differently (my smirk joker sculpt is 1 I’m considering for example)

Just my 2 cents

I just saw the coolest ******* thing I could ask for in 1/6 scale...

🤯🤯
Don’t be a tease. Just reveal pls

It's 1 of 1, and it sold unfortunately.

This would be my ******* grail. The only piece that could stand toe to toe with Ledger.

I love Interstellar, still can’t put anything in the same league as Ledger.

A character that, for me, transcends film, Hollywood, all of it. Stands out head and shoulders from anything else before or afterwards no matter the talent involved.

Not sure why I’ve been affected to such a degree,
but it’s what’s happened.

As a character, Ledger transcends all. Obviously, I don't put TARS in the same category. It's more so my love for the source material. Interstellar is my favorite film. I have a certain connection to it, and something about this TARS appeals to me as a perfect minimalist representation of that.

Maybe some day.

I can’t come to a decision on
a favorite film ever made, so many good ones.

I think ultimately
there’s just too many hurdles to jump to achieve that.

For it to be my favorite film it has to have my favorite performance, which TDK has, but without that performance it wouldn’t be in my top 10 films.

The original Halloween is up there,
brilliant film that was watered down by its fans.

It's on my 4th watch of Interstellar that I became sure. It's one of those films that resonate more with every viewing.

Ledger takes my top spot for all time performance. That's an easy one, even among the greats. But that you're able to single out this core element from the rest of the film.. therein lies the real problem.

Even with all the praise,
The Dark Knight is only my second favorite film in the Dark Knight trilogy. And only my third favorite Chris Nolan film.

It's incredible what this man has achieved.

I think TDK gets criticized unfairly,
because of the height Ledger brought it,
the rest of the film is supposed to be at that level, which is impossible.

On its own, script wise, the film is as good as Heat or Seven, it has an impeccable script with just about every detail accounted for, it just doesn’t help that those details are catered towards a singular character more than the rest of the cast.

Look at the cast in TDK, that was unheard of in 2008 for such a film. When you have a star that outshines the likes of Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Christian Bale, to name a few, you’re absolutely suffering from success.

Kudos to the rest of the cast for not trying to compete with Ledger, ruining their part in the process.

Aaron is a fine actor.
He doesn't get enough credit. Not just for his role in the film, but his career didn't take off the way you'd expect.

I wish they pushed the look further. Made it more grotesque. Maybe the rating wouldn't allow it. But Nolan didn't seem to want that either.

I have multiple spots in 2025 but my last one that I would use for this is in September.

Your point is exactly why i'm torn, but I feel like I will probably not get a better sculpt for that version of the character and it's one of my favorites.
And probably a little bit of FOMO too.

Technically I had Heise sculpture scheduled for this spot but It's not my favorite and it's a recast... I'd rather get an original.
