Discord gets me addicted too quick, that's why I left earlier.
I was checking for any activity every 5 minutes. šŸ˜…
oh **** lol i didnt even realize you left earlier!

but yeah, you can go back and forth really quickly unlike here. i like the back and forth discussions compared to anywhere else. its small but better to keep it small or else things get out of hand with multiple conversations going at once and half of the time I'm just shitting on figures and critiquing them lol

some days are slow but that's just in the nature of the hobby when we mainly feed off of announcements, whether it be customs, 3rd party or hot toys

youre more than welcome to come back whenever man, door is always open to you guys and nick. i tried asking him awhile back if he wanted to join since I thought he fit in since he was very detail oriented as well

I enjoy checking the discord every day with my morning coffee. Iā€™ve just notched up 1 year since I started collecting. Between here & the discord Iā€™ve received great advice. Hopefully some of you guys join the discord too.

I'm not a discord user, but is there a link so I can keep track of the discussions there as well?

Hi guys, some days ago I reserved a spot with John to paint and root a Arirang headsculpt. Same as you, February 2026, he charged me $300, can that be the 2026 new price?

Also, one question, is this the SeeArt sculpt? I thought that project was with Yuan, and this pic is from John šŸ˜…

@DiostaR I may be interested in that coat, should I contact Norah or Ben then? Thanks in advance.

The collar at the neck seems to be throwing the silhouette off. It appears to go too high above the shoulder line. Almost every picture I've ever seen of ledger the collar never pops that high over the shoulder silhouette (if that makes sense)- but it could be because his head is always hunched forward and we never seen whats behind his head. Either way I dont think we should be seeing it go that high. In these reference photos you never see the collar around the neck poking above his shoulders.

The thing I have always wanted the most with a ledger outfit is to get the shoulders this high- I dont know if its possible on these kinds of 1/6 bodies though. The shoulder line of the coat starts almost at ear height. For me- I dont want the look of a mannequin wearing a joker outfit, I want Ledger's physicality to come through and that is primarily accomplished via the high boxy shoulders.

You can see how much higher the shoulders are with the coat on than without the coat

My biggest gripe/concern with trying to go that far to mimic ā€œhigh shouldersā€ is my lack of confidence that it will look good. I fear it will make him look like jokor & not joker.

Proportions are delicate balance in to get right in 1/6.

Which xXx sculpt did you get ?

That's Mike x Yixie not seeart.

And for the coat you can contact any of them but I suggest Norah as she seems to have a better english and seems to be the host ?
She might take longer to reply as she seems busy.

youd need a discord account to access the server. its just a small server to keep up to date with announcements w/ a friend group of me and a few buddies that follow the hobby. lots of guys there collect star wars but there's a few of us like Mr. riddler, nm.ct, and a few others that are familiar to custom stuff,

nice to have people that kinda have their own niche so it isn't exactly just one thing dominating over other IPs

So as someone just starting my journey with a custom Joker, I currently have the InArt rooted purple coat version and the Hot Toys Artisan on the way.
I've also got a spot secured for John's V2 sculpt and I'm eyeing up this new jacket from Norah.

My question is, do I stick with my InArt as a "base" to upgrade and cancel the Hot Toys, or keep the Hot Toys as the "base"?

I would cancel the Artisan.
Use Inart as a base.

There's a wonderworld shirt and vest for sale on the custom forum. I recommend that you put the money towards that (and Ben's coat) instead.

Then you're all set with John's V2.

Do you have the link please?
I just had a quick look in the for sale section but I couldn't find it sorry

Rough edit, but to give them an idea,

I added length and flare to the sleeve, and a richer purple color.

I went overboard with the saturation. But there should be depth to the color that comes through when the light hits the coat. Keep it dark, but not faded.

More plum = closer to the prop.
More blue = closer to the film.
