They are game changers.
You can get them on Aliexpress for cheap, just type "silicone tube" or something like that in the search bar and you'll find them.

I usually go for 8x14mm for male headsculpts.
If they are too thin you can wrap some electrical tape around the tip that goes in the neck and it will add thickness to it and hold it nice and right.
What are these tubes used for? I've never seen anyone talk about them

merely speculating as I've never used one. But, I'd guess these tubes are used to slide over the neck joint inside a given body and used as a sort of post to slide a custom headsculpt on top of (particularly rooted headsculpts) en lieu of blue tack or gluing in a neck adapter.

yes.

dont use neck adapter, you put unnecessary stress on the sculpt when inserting and removing. tubing is nice, I've incorporated it with the 3d printed neck pieces I make for my custom figures

magnet is nice or friction fitting with foam around neck adapter is better

the tubing is nice and tight. very reliable and doesn't add unnecessary stress to my prints

these are the new design I have and its worked good with drifter batman. i can scale it to how I like, make it long or short if necessary. don't need ****** topo "neck adapter" for inart when I can do it myself

this was an old design for my black/adam neck. i didn't wanna carve into he sculpture to make a cavity so had to make due. the bottom of the neck has an inscription/character in Chinese... probably not smart of me to add a magnet on that but idk how else you would make an adapter for it unless you glue the neck to a modified adapter

I probably should print in PETG instead of PLA, at least then I can be assured of having a strong/sturdy material with a good flex to it but I haven't gotten to messing with other materials besides PLA. I've been having issues with my prints between moisture in my material and nozzle clogs so prints are crappy. I'm sure if I messed with PETG, the results would be worse with the condition my printer is in

overtime PLA stretches and loosens the socket. most times I have to add a drop of glue to thicken the socket
