Reasons are personal. Some people are in it strictly for a buck. Others(myself included) are in it for the joy of collecting but would rather make money when they sell than lose it. Others are hardcore fanboys and pure collectors that will never sell anything. Very few of them around here. There is no right or wrong reason. It's all in how you roll.

I seldom sell. If I do, it's because I have two of something or got something I regretted because it was the it thing, and that is rare. I am a person who doesn't know how to spend his money right.

Dang, I got back from seeing Hulk and I was just about to cancel my original Hellboy order and reorder using some reward points--only to find that it already sold out! And dang fast, in my opinion. I wonder what the ES is on this guy...

It's funny how they put this pre-order up at this time. If the movie blows, there's still the chance people can cancel their order. Sideshow is hedging that the movie will rock. It's a def win-win for us collectors.

I love this statue! I'd get it if I had the $340.
I like the pose from the poster, but to me for the statue it's a little too much like the Iron Man Comiquette.
I still want it though.

He's not smaller - he's quarter scale and I may be wrong, but looks slightly larger than the first one. The crouching, folded up body kind of makes him look smaller, but the tall base adds majesty to it so that it has a much greater presence than the first.

I like the wider and simpler layout of the desktop wallpaper, but the poster is easier to frame.
