Yeah, probably, as you can't seem to find either for under $1700. Pretty crazy. I f the IM 1:1 bust had had a low number instead of being open or if they make Big Baby 1:1 and that number is low, the BB will be the next grail. I guess the BB 1:1 and the Hellboy 1:1 bust will be the $700 items.

Time will tell on that Iron man bust. I could easily see it going up in price despite the open edition.

That's true. Hell SSC could shut down producing them if they are not big sellers and then we could get an ES number. Even if it was random. Hell, I think it should only be 2008. Just like when the Original Helmets came out, they only did the amount for the year IM first came out, the same could be done for the movie.

Ugh, if you're using eBay that means you are already on-line... take the extra time to make sure its a good purchase

I'm a bit surprised to see the exc still up as well, but it still is an expensive item and did hit with a lot of other deisrable product.

I think people are a little butt sore over the fact that they think they are being cheated at this is the same gun. But it's NOT!!! Oh well, some people just don't get it.

It's not the same gun -- it's better in every way. I can understand people being annoyed, especially if they just bought the old one on the secondary market at an inflated price.

i think prop replicas are specific to the movie. just look at master replicas and the different versions of vader LE lightsabers they had and i didnt hear anybody complain about that

The props are different really. The first one? Polystone. The second? Metal and wood. The first specifically from HB1 with a unique set up from that film. This one? HB2 with an entirely different set up.

This is very similar to the Elite Edition of the Han Solo blaster that was released a while after the original blaster had sold out and was selling for fairly high amounts on the secondary market. The Elite edition was pretty much the same, but made of nicer materials.

I also agree that this is the same gun as the first one. Only better. Whoever has the first one and feels that they have been ripped off, I feel ya. I sold my Luke ANH EE when the SE/LE were announced.

Ouch that is a shipping charge, is it cheaper though them than Sideshow for shipping? If you are only saving $40 by buying the regular of a retailer I'd just go the extra bit of money and get the exclusive. Its definitely cooler and will be worth more on the secondary market.

The weight is pretty crazy, but its possible since the polystone gun alone was around 10lbs... the new one is actual metal and has a pretty substantial base.

Weight for the new Samaritan is 23 lbs. They quoted me $35 for shipping to NorCal. Usually my 6 or 8 lb. figures are about $8.
