No worries, I wasn't taking it personally. Just explaining myself... and then you explained yourselves... and now I'm explaining myself again.

Maybe I should've just complained. ;)

Mine too GB. The only question I have is anyone else BPRD plaque not quite fit securely in the base? I can rock it back and forth and it's a bit worrisome.

My plaque is OK very little wobble I just wish the pegs holding the gun would lock in place.

Yeah, having the pegs lock in place would have been helpful. I didn't notice the plaque being wobbly on the stand. But I'm using the wall mount so it wasn't a big issue either way.

Have you tried wrapping some tissue around the peg... that way at least the wobble is taken care of and you won't make the plaque openning any wider with extra movement.

Not yet but that's a good idea. I just unpacked it and checked it for any physical flaws last night (while I was watching Hellboy :D)

The BPRD plaque on mine does not slide completely into the base, so there's a bit of a gap on the left side. But zero wobble or rocking. My pegs are sturdy too. No loose fits. Cannot stop looking at this beauty. Man-oh-man is it a well-crafted piece.

Impressed with the licensing of Hellboy. Sideshow's been great. Mezco's been great (nice job on the 3 3/4" and the 18" Hellboys). Congrats to everyone who decided to take the plunge for the Samaritan, 'cause it is definitely a steep one, dollar-wise. In my humble opinion though, it's worth every penny.

Got mine today. Love this piece...As stated above, not cheap, but worth it.

The only thing i'm not crazy about is the holders for the gun. REALLY wish those were threaded or something for piece o' mind.

Other than that single nitpick, as perfect as one could wish for...

Luckily though the weight of the gun should prevent the holders from shifting. I think it should be okay over the long run.

At least I hope so. Mines being mounted on the wall so if it drops its got a longer way to go :google

If I wall mounted it, no matter how securely, I don't think I'd be able to sleep at night :lol

I agree about the holders, I don't really think they'll go anywhere.

Yeah, I felt pretty iffy when I first hung up my Kurgan Sword... but over a year later **knocks on wood** and its still going strong.

I'll be counter-sinking and all that so I can feel confident there won't be a catastrophic failure.

I wrapped a little black electrical tape around the the pegs & they fit snugly but can still be adjusted problem solved.:D

Now I have a quandary on my hands. I originally ordered the standard Samaritan on flex pay and made two payments. When I heard how many people were canceling the exclusive I went on the wait list and it converted a week later. Now the exclusive has been paid for and has shipped, due to arrive Friday.

Now, what to do about the flex pay standard Samaritan? I only have one payment left, but I don't really need two of them. How much of the $266 I already paid for the first two payments would I get back if I cancelled now? I lose like $60, right?

once again folks https://www.sideshowtoy.com/helpdesk/

This piece is great! The revolver is so freakin' heavy, metal compared to the original samaritan's polystone cast. The base could look a little more stone-like and is relatively light, but I'm okay with that given that the revolver is so good. Yeah the pegs are a little flimsy, but it works as long as you're not constantly moving it around. Worth every penny and it's a keeper.
