Hello everyone. We need your opinion on a product/company. What do you all think about the Loading Toys 12" Figures. So far they include The Courier (Unofficialy Jason Stathem from Transporter), Loses (Matt Damon as Jason Bourne from The Bourne Trilogy), The Spy (Daniel Craig as James Bond), and Vagrant (Tom Cruise from War of the Worlds). There are also a couple others in the works. From what I can see, with the exception of the Tom Cruise, the likenesses are quite good. They claim they work with Hot Toys and BBI or other peg12" designs. We're trying to decide if we want to carry thes (of course to be broken down), but they don't come with a whole lot, and they're suppose to sell around $65 (for a boxed figure). Based on our wholesale cost, we're leary of getting them because the parts would have to be a bit pricey to make it worth our while. What say you?

They're pretty good. I had never heard of them but there clothing looks well tailored and the paint job is ok. Do the production figs look like these or are the pics prototypes?

For $65 I would say pass.

I have been wanting to buy Loading Toys figures parted out for a while now, but not at the prices the Chinese eBay vendors are selling them for. I want parts like the P99 and some clothing from the Bond, the Bourne head and boots, plus the Transporter sweater and bag. I imagine these are the same parts everyone will want.

If it comes down to it, I would be willing to pay $30 for the heads, $10 or less for the guns and $5-15 for the clothing per piece. If that can be accomplished, I am in, if not I can't justify the cost. I have been toying with the idea of buying Bond and Bourne to part out myself, but I will most likely never do it.

I did get to see the Jason Stathem one, and thought it looked pretty good. One thing about these heads is that they are made from a realistic "skin technology" as you can see in the upcoming "Shooter" pics. Due to this, I am unsure how much paint is actually used, not to mention, I don't know if paint would work well on them. The guy I know who got the Courier is bringing it here so I can take a look at it again.

Also one factor is what system the heads use to attach to the bodies. Is it adaptable to the HT style necks and adapters? Is it Buck style? BBI? Or is it its own creature.

Also what are the bodies like?

They specifically say they work with "Products using the "HT" or" BBI" body etc." Etc. would refer to designs similar to those 2. Unsure of the body desing, but will let you know when I get to look at the Courier again later today.

I would definately buy a few heads from these sets, and some bits here and there. I know they would be fairly expensive due to the sets themselves being quite pricey.

The heads do seem to be made out of a more delicate material as I ordered a couple heads from HK, and they arrived with broken/chipped ears.:banghead

The sets do not come with a body. The heads come attached with a knock off of the Hot Toys "short" neck adapter which seem to be made out of some kind of rubber. The heads will pop on Hot Toys TT or BBi G3/G3.5 bodies no problem.

Ugh, really, no body? This may kill the deal.

Any chance of HT Abe Sapien part outs or Hellboy?
Will you continue to part out and get in Did parts and figures?
I hear theyre kinda restructuring and making more lmted runs.
Not a big fan of Loading Toys but more parts are good imo.
The resemblance's are mediocre at best.
Of course this now might be moot.

We will not be breaking down the Hellboy items. You just can't separate that much, and there's no way of making enough of it to justify spending the time breaking it down.

We will continue to get DID as long as we're able to purchase them at a reasonable wholesale price, which remains to be seen due to the restructuring. I think we do actually have one of their next figures on order, but can't remember what it is.

I have the bond. They're basically TrueType kits as you already know. The flesh color used to mold them matches up extremely well with the TT coloring. My Craig fits nicely in with Sideshow's Bonds to flesh out the 007 collection. If you guys can get them for a decent price, I'd definitely be interested. But parting them out I don't think would work as well.
