I thinks its just 1/4 inch black foam pad that you can buy at Michales craft stores for 99 cents

Ooh haha I think I see it standing out now that you've mentioned it. It lends a nice polish to the top/front.
Need to grab some nice craft foam for random projects then.

Went with the HT Wesker sculpt instead and looks loads better.
