When did Marty go up? Friday?
New site looks great by the way. Is there anyway to see figures or parts that got sold out in a physical link? Like they're still on the site with it's own page within the store, but listed as out of stock? I've always disliked how they just disappear when there's a chance they can come back in stock.
Hey guys. I wanted to address this earlier, but well, I was kinda busy
The reasons we do not show old product are these; 1, there are over 32,000 products on our site, but only a small percentage of that is actually in stock. To show all the product all the time would severely clutter up the site. 2, to show all the old product also means that all the old prices would show. Do you really think we'd sell a Hot Toys Blade head for $30 buckaroos these days? I think not. We cannot go in and adjust all the prices to what we think they'd sell for in today's market, and if we leave them alone, well, people would be clamoring and emailing and calling for us to get them back in stock because of the ridiculously cheap prices.
That all being said, and NO PROMISES, but what do you think about a parts archive website you can visit to see all our old parts pictures? I've thought about this for some time, but am concerned about a few things. 1, the whole clamoring and emailing and calling for us to have these items back in stock, and 2, though it is already possible, I don't want to encourage people to "use" our images to sell their own products on their websites and/or Ebay, and there's no way I'm going to go through and watermark all of those old pictures. I know it can be done in batches, but many of the pictures are too small, and the watermark just ruins them.
I have already done some research on this, but any thoughts from the community?
