Yes, The steed is a separately boxed item, and includes the stand.

Ya know, now that you bring it up, I'm not sure. I had copied what was on an email we had received awhile back, but now I can't find it. Nothing seems to match what I put there. Maybe I was just in la la land that day . I guess I'll remove that for now. Thanks for pointing that out!
