Got my "What if?" Vader done. My entry for March.
Body, Kylo Ren costume, boots, gloves and ANH Luke Saber from Toy Anxiety.

I love this.

It almost has a 3A vibe, except without their "dipped in poop" paint apps.

That's an interesting idea for a Vader that was never injured and burned... I like it.

I'm currently gathering parts for a custom Grand Admiral Thrawn, though it'll be a long time before it sees completion.

Thanks! I think it might be created with an iPhone app. My Brother did it for me when i sent him the images, so i couldn't help including it.

I love this.

Lol, thanks. I am considering repainting the helmet eventually. Perhaps with some scoring and damage, like he has been wearing it for a bit and it has taken a few hits. But for now, i like it as is.

For those who have seen the Doug Chiang concept Qui-Gon from Phantom Menace he was pretty much in line with your Vader, Bar. Again you have really outdone yourself.

I was half tempted to put a SS Anakin head on there. It has a crummy paint app on it though.

I imagine Lucas was watching Schindler's List when he was casting Qui-Gon and honestly, Voldemort would not have been a bad Master Jin. As I've said to you before if the prequels were done in the 80's, to me, Neeson would not have been a bad choice for Anakin and neither would have been Fiennes. Which Anakin head did you try? I personally favor the Clone Wars version as I think it is easier to customize with the modern bodies.
In my heart of hearts I have a hard time accepting Christensen as an adult Anakin. When I was a kid my idea of this Jedi that Ben described as an amazing pilot and cunning warrior was closer to Chris Hemmsworth in the first Star Trek film. But that's neither here nor there. Sorry for the tangent.

I reckon it was The English Patient. It's some of Fiennes best work(Possibly his actual best), and i can see him as a younger Qui Gon, being ten years younger than Neeson.

Yeah, it was the Clone Wars one. I will take a pic of that head on the Vader figure today and PM it to you.

No worries. I am sure even innocuous talk keeps the thread up top and will be a good thing.
I am probably in the minority of still being able to enjoy the prequels. They aren't Shakespeare, but neither were any of the OT films. I love them. They are great movies. I could watch every single one of them on a loop all day every day, but none of them are as good as The English Patient, lol(Or a whole host of movies i could list off the top of my head). But they have their place and work incredibly well at what they do. I love SW. It's great when we get more, and this is the golden age for those of us that enjoy good scifi, all thanks to Disney.
