Will you be parting out the Sideshow Snowspeeder Luke? Thanks!
Entry for May: Leto Atreides II from the Dune novels. 120 yards of artificial sinew wrapped around a body and head from the always awesome TA.

Nice!
What is the cloak from???
Thanks! The cloak is from the Soldier Story US Marine Raiders set. Very nice, drapey material.
Absolutely awesome, Keegan. I was telling my brother-in-law about Dune the other day. Remind me, is this Leto from Children of Dune or God Emperor of Dune?
Amazing. And how did you achieve the effect with the sinew?
The sinew comes waxy and holds it's shape really well. I used a slick bodysuit (HT Sandtrooper) so it would still articulate. I'd cut about a yard of sinew, superglue one end to a spot and just start wrapping. After you get going, it sticks to itself well enough. He's got a separate pair of "briefs" to keep his legs/torso from locking up and the hands were kind of insane. My fav part is the crysknife - the handle is a fossilized tendon of a 60-million year old edmontosaurus that I found at a local rock shop for ten bucks ha ha!
Thanks! I imagined this would be sometime in between those books. He was still very young when he first puts on the sandtrout skin in Children, I think. Then next time you see him in God Emperor he's 3500 years old and mostly worm So somewhere along the way.
I've considered starting the Dune series, since I've been seeing pictures of the giant sand worms for years... I love behemoth/leviathan creatures.Makes perfect sense. I mean, if it was his God Emperor state he'd pretty much be Jabba the Hut. Thank you for sharing.
