Let's recap regarding Pre-orders. We will not be offering any pre-orders on figures offered previous to Perseus. We will not be offering pre-orders on all future figures, only select figures that seem worth doing so, and that we can clearly see how it will break down. Just remember that offering pre-order parts is just a test with Perseus, and we are not 100% sure that we'll continue to do this. Lastly, parted pre-orders are likely only going to be on Hot Toys products. Right now, we're not planning to do so on any Sideshow figures. Pre-order parts are going to have to sell really well and really fast in order for us to expand the concept. Thanks everyone!

Just know that just because we ordered 40, doesn't mean that's how many we'll break down. I'm sure we'll sell several boxed figures of this one. We will probably break 10 down when we get them, and then maybe 3-4 at a time until we don't have anymore. We are starting to implement limitations on some items. It is likely going to happen with a few of the T2 parts.

What do you mean limitations? Like 1 body per order? Or limiting how many figures you break down? If its limiting parts per order I'm down for that. That's let us laggers the have a chance at the parts. I'm constantly on your site but it seems like some people are on your site 24/7. I don't know how people get so lucky sometimes.

Yeah, I get first come first served and all that, but with the exception of sleeping occasionally, or having to work, sometimes its not possible to stay on the site. I missed the Marcus Wright sculpt more times than I can count. Now, Perseus is available but he appears to have a different head/neck than Marcus which means I have to worry about getting the correct neck or wind up with a problem like I did with the RE Chris sculpt. :banghead
I gotta win the lottery so I can just fly out to the store.

Limitation means, 1-2 of certain parts per person, but know that no one has ever ordered more then that at any given time. It's not like 1 person is buying them out all at once. We won't allow that to happen.

OK, but if it turns out you want the Perseus body, and you miss out, we don't want to hear about it :lol

Awesome! I've needed a stand for my Black Knight for years... never thought I'd actually get one :yess:

Excellent!!! Great to see more pics of customs in our thread here!!! This brings us to our monthly contest starting May 1st. For the duration of the month, anyone who posts pictures of their 1:6 scale customs will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a $25 Toy Anxiety eGift Certificate.

  • To qualify, all you have to do is post pics in this thread.
  • No links or emailed pictures will qualify.
  • You get 1 entry per month no matter how many pictures you post.
  • It doesn't matter how good or bad the custom is, as long as it IS a 1:6 scale custom.
  • This is not a contest as to whose custom is better.
  • It doesn't matter if the customs are new or previously created.
  • Custom cannot be one previously posted in this thread.

At the end of the month we'll draw a random user and contact the winner via PM. We'll continue to do this monthly for the duration of 2010 as long as we have at least 5 different qualifying users. Have fun, and can't wait to see more pics!

I tried out the toy stash for the first time today. I've wanted that killer rabbit from Monty Python for a while now, but have never felt the need to get Sir Robin. And there wasn't anything else I needed put up today, so I figured I'd give it a try. I hope I did it right

As for the contest, here is my custom Albert Wesker based off of his Resident Evil 4 era look:
