Not trying to start a debate here... @ Entropy - Yes there are those occasions and I have even done that for replacements myself but as I said I believe that most orders for shoes gloves and hands are ordered by people who already have a body for them with connector joints (unless the body doesn't have them when they get it)

Anywho - don't know if you guys had thought of it from that angle or not so I thought I would toss it out there.

I think when the parts are special they should come with the body. Leonidas is a god example. But if its just a normal TT pegs, then just sell them seperately from the hands/feet.

:goodpost:

I was just playing devil's advocate. I can see both sides.

Leo's sandals could be used for any number of customs, but his unique feet pegs should stay with the body.

Remember the old days when a nude figure was a nude figure? Neck, hands and feet included.
Ahhh, the good ol' days.

I got my order yesterday and along with my order, in the box was a FREE ball Point Pen!!! You guys Rock!!!!!:hi5:

:rotfl :duh So that's where that darn pen went.

Was this actually an accident? If so I think that is the funniest accident to date. HAHAHA That just makes TA even more awesome in my book.

TA - I have a request/suggestion...

When you sell bodies please consider including the neck wrist and ankle posts with the nude. People buying shoes, hands, and gloves will in most cases have a body to use them on (IMO) but when you get a nude it can be a pain to get the joint connectors if you don't need shoes/hands etc...

:goodpost::goodpost: I agree 10 folds.

I don't get why people just can't buy the hands, neck and feet if they're needed for the body when they're picking up the body. Should TA wipe your ass too? :dunno :lol

It makes sense to break them down separately if people need a set to replace broken ones. Additionally, it's even more necessary for figures like Leonidas where there's not much else to break down but the body, hands, feet, neck, etc. There isn't any money in a breakdown doing that. At that point, why not just keep the figure boxed and expect you to buy the whole thing?

Well sometimes people don't need gloved or sandled feet. They already got the hands and feet they need, they just need the pegs to the body, which are usually combined with that figure's respective hands/feet. And sometimes the feet can but up to $20. That is a big difference thatn $2 for the pegs. :dunno

But lets face it. If this is the ONLY thing we can complain about, TA is doing great! :rock

redfield body arrived today.......:banana

but i didn't get a freakin' pen....

This threads wouldn't be the same without good ol' nam always taking the contrary view.:lol

:moon:moon:moon

Just saying though, something like that would be more practical with a Marcus Wright figure or the Comedian who come loaded with accessories. If every time they broke down a barebones figure like Wolverine or Leonidas and put all the pieces with the body, I have no doubt people would be crying that they're too expensive. Because to at bare minimum, break even on a figure, TA'd have to increase the price over what they're charging now. :huh

To clarify our standpoint on separating vs including joints/limbs, etc. It was you guys (and we don't mean anyone here specifically), but enough people that asked for us to separate these items from the body. That is the ONLY reason we started doing so. Understandably, we know there are certain parts unique to specific bodies, but if we make decisions from body to body how we're going to separate things, it's going to get very confusing for us to remember what is what. It's a lot easier to follow a simple formula to follow. The real problem is that the parts that people need (neck, joints, etc.) sell out so fast leaving others missing certain parts. However, we would have to agree with what someone said here that if you're quick and lucky enough to snag a body, then there shouldn't have been any trouble getting the joints you need as well. Since we've been increasing our orders on many of these figures, hopefully this issue will subside a bit.

Now, this all being said, there are a lot of Perseus Pre-Order parts unsold as very few people have taken advantage of this. If you want the body and certain attachments, get them while they are pre-orderable so you don't have to deal with it later. We would have ordered more Perseus if the parts had sold, but we're not going to increase our orders if they're not pre-selling. We've only pre-sold 7 of his body, something of which probably would have sold out in a day at a quantity of 20 if they were in stock. Not a single hand, hand joint pegs, or pair of feet have sold. I know the concern is that it's a new/different design, but when is the last time anyone has been disappointed in a Hot Toys design?

We're always trying to adjust things to the way the majority of people seem to want, but we won't go back and forth. Maybe in the future, and this is a BIG maybe, we'll offer up a few full bodies (although headless) at a higher price alongside all the separated ones. No matter what, they probably won't stick around very long anyway. Otherwise, we'll continue to separate the hands, joints, feet, necks, etc. if they are separable.

Thanks guys, regardless of the "discussion", this is how we learn stuff, and welcome it here as long as it stays civil as it has in this instance. Oh, and no we're not interested in wiping anyone's a**'s :yuck thank you Nam.

Is the Perseus body the same as the comedian Body except with sculpted thighs?

We don't know. He could have a regular TT torso for all we know. HT just doesn't show off their newly designed bodies very often/well. We only saw the T-800's body when he was being parted out on ebay.

My personal opinion on the Perseus body is that nobody knows if the torso is the same as the Wolvie/Comedian and if the lower leggings are molded on or if they are removable. If that is the case then it limits that figure greatly in what can be done with it. That's the only reason I have yet to get one.

And I understand you guys have to cover your costs by parting bodies out all the way. If you can't include the joints with the body then keep all the prices the same (for the body, hands, feet, heads etc.) and sell the joints by themselves. You make more money that way.

Again, you may have done it that way in the past. I've only known about you guys within the past year...

And the only reason I thought of this is because I was able to get one of your Leonidas bodies in a trade but it has no wrist or ankle pegs. I was able to get the feet that included the ankles -even though I don't need to feet - so I'm good there but I'm kind of screwed on getting wrists now because the special connectors were sold with the hands. Anyone could use the hands in a bash but the wrists can only be used with the Leo body.

Anywho - that's what lead me to suggesting that. That's all.

Regardless, at the end of the day you guys are one of the best dealers to us 1/6 addicts so thanks for taking the time to check out feedback from your customers and interacting on here and of course for breaking down figures! :rock

We used to include the wrist joints with the hands early on as we still do with Sideshow Pro Body figures. However, Hot Toys doesn't include even amounts of pegs per hands, so it was better to separate them so people could choose which hands they wanted.

In his picture, it looks like his neck is part of the body, so we don't think it's a regular TT torso. We shall see.

I got ya... I thought the wrist joints sold with the Leo hands like some of the others I had seen. Thanks for clearing that up. :monkey4
