To be fair, the Post Office is the only self sufficient government agency. They operate soley on the money they bring in from postage, ZERO tax payers' dollars support them. They are just like any other business except they happen to be owned by the government. And considering they can send a piece of mail across the country for a mere 44 cents is amazing. Can UPS or Fed Ex do that? The Post Office has its faults just like any other business, but all thing considered, they are conistantly ranked one of the best businesses in the country.

So my only guess is King must have pissed them off somehow

As far as sculpts go I think this hobby needs a good Kurt Russell sculpt.
So many iconic roles but so few good likeness'.
I know people want Snake, but maybe just a good generic likeness so people can modify it to suit their needs.
I want one that can be used for Stargate and Soldier at least.
A few years between some of those "big" roles (Escape,Thing,Stargate,Big Trouble, Soldier,Tombstone) but theres nothing out there.
...and no SS Duke isnt a good substitute.

Lonnie at Heroheads makes a Snake, Soldier, and Tombstone version. There's actually quite a few "custom" Russells out there and thene then theres the CIA[?] figure recently released that is a good Kurt likeness. There was also a MacReady looking one a few years back.

I wholeheartedly agree, yeah there are other Russell heads out there but there is always something...off about them. None of them have been dead ringers. So yeah, KR has the potential to be so many different characters. It's a perfect fit.

I have the 2007 PMC and while it's close to Russell the nose is off. A nice substitute but not as good as it could be.

Im sure Lonnie is a nice guy but I dont think his sculpts are up to snuff.

Pretty sure the USPS had billion dollar budget deficits the last couple of years. . .hence the proposed end to Saturday service.

The USPS is currently borrowing money from the US Treasure (taxpayer money) to pay for it's deficit and making cuts in hours and programs. I would say it's far from successful by any means and I'd venture to say the borrowed money, won't be paid back (at least not any time in the near future).

Almost any govt endeavor can stay afloat if you throw enough tax money at it regardless of its poor oversight.
Without tax payer infusion the postal system wouldve crashed and burned long ago.
Having Uncle Sam as your pimp daddy means never having to say youre sorry or be accountable.

Well love it or hate it, the post office is still the only way to get letters. UPS and FedEx are more than happy to lose your packages too.

So you think the USPS would be operating in the black if they could just charge enough for the stamps?.
I see very little "cake" for all the price increases and multi billion tax infusions.
These are the idiots who want to run healthcare as well

The postal system needs to be privatized like UPS and Fed Ex , they seem to turn a profit and get the job done with out govt aid.
