It was also my first order with TA. I placed it last night and it already shipped this morning. I'm extremely impressed

T/A is the bomb for parts. though i tend to find stuff that i dont have a reason to buy but i think to myself.....wow.......that would be cool for something someday........... DAMN YOU T/A...

I dont think they'll do pre-order on parts. REALLY hope I'm wrong. But it doesn't look like the Clash of the Titan part out is working out too well for them. But maybe I'm wrong.

Correctomundo, Perseus did not do that well, but with some reasoning. We're not going to offer preorder parts on Dastan, but will give it another go with the T-1000. Look for that to go up hopefully later this week.

TA is there some kind of process, besides putting it online, that goes into putting things up for pre-order? Why would you put T-1000 up for pre-order, but not any other figure? I know T-1000 would sell out quick for parts but so would other parts of other figures. We all know Dastan's body will sell out fast. All bodies do. Why it's not gone from pre-order is beyond me.

I'm Not TA, but let me take a shot at that question.

More than just the body needs to sell out you know. Frankly Perseus and Dastan don't have any other parts (to me at least) that I see parting out very well. They are 'period' figures. Most figures people part out tend to me more modern I think. So I just don't think a lot of their parts outside the heads and bodys are desirable. So its not worth the hassle of a pre-order part out.

The T-1000 on the other hand is perfect. His parts are desirable to begin with for making multiple versions of him. Plus he wears a cop uniform, and cop gear is always a sure seller, especially when of great quality like HT. So even those not wanting his parts for a T-1000 are likely to be interested in something from him be it the cop helmet or boots. So I would tend to think the T-1000 will be a very successful pre-order part out. Perseus was unfortunately just not the best choice to start that idea off with since we're not even fully sure if he'll have a full muscle torso or if its just the arms and neck and legs. But he could be the next Leonidas after nude shots start surfacing. Dastan at least shows a bit more skin in his pics so we know he has a muscle body, and that is why people already want that body.
