Help me with a movie I just can't remember *challenge*

It's been a long time since I've seen this movie, and I can't even give you a big description. But I'm going to try to give you what I remember. I'd say late 80's but maybe early 90's...

All I Can Remember:

A woman and man, don't remember if they are married, or what, are driving and end up God knows where. I believe their car breaks down near this really old looking house. All around the house is like a car junk yard.
So they go to the house and go inside and are kind of trapped in there by these weird people. The main guy there is a judge or something and he does not look so human. I don't remember too much more than the couple breaks out of the house and is trying to run away from these people at one point, hiding behind the junk piles in their yard.

Yeah, seriously, that's all I remember. But if there is a place I can go to where someone can figure this out, it's here.

I knew exactly what movie you were talking about, but couldn't think of the title.

Saw it many times as a kid, but had no idea Dan Aykroyd directed it!

Check out the independant film "Filthy". It also almost fits this bill. Only difference is the married couple is actually a news crew of a man and a woman.

it's a french movie that has like a big lion thats like a king....and the main character has long hair like Aragorn from LOTR...and there's like a girl in it....i think it came out in 2003 or 2004...it's like a dark drama!

That sounds like the Lion, the something, and the Wardrobe Walk-in Closet. I have no idea the name. Oi, I am even bad at these main stream movies.

No that's not it. In the movie I am referring to the people drove out in the country or mountains somewhere and broke down. The movie above they landed on an island.

hey ...does anybody remember a movie with some dude that has a beards...and he was like an explorer or something...and he had this chick with him....i think there's 2 movies of this guy...

the only thing i remember is that there's something like Soloman in the title......

oh and there's like a part where the earth is splitting apart or something and he's swinging around...or maybe he's climbing some vines...i dunno...my head is about to burst! help!
