Help me with a movie I just can't remember *challenge*

Oh I got one. Theres this feller that does police work in Detroit city and then he gets blasted to ^^^^. They later on fix him up to be some sort of robot but he is still a cop but somehow has human things that bad up his brain. He becomes some sort of Robocop.

OK here's one...
This is a movie which I saw as a kid. I think it was a horror movie because I remember it scared the cr*p out of me back then. I think it's safe to say that the movie is around 20 years old give or take, because I was around 5 (I think) when I saw it.
All I can remember is:
- There's somekind of lizardman-like monster, with a fin-like thing starting on his head, going down his back.
- It takes place on an island, or near the sea, cause there was a scene on the beach where a purple-ish tentacle came out of the water and grabbed someone.
I've been wondering for some years now which movie that might have been...

Back when I was a kid I stayed up late and started watching this sci-fi / Horror movie that happened to be on TV
I remember a few scenes but it involved this man and a woman being held captive in a prison by aliens. I think they were being experimented on because each time they were brought back to the cell they had been given alien features!
Here are the scenes I remember:
1. woman and man in the cell, alien opens the door and throws in two live alien rat things?? woman catches one kills it and starts eating the goo, she says "you need to keep up your strength" the guy does not look happy lol
2. Woman is brought back to cell and says " I can't see what they did back there" the man looks and see's her whole back now looks very Giger Alien like.
3. The man is escaping through some vent and an alien tentacle grabs his leg from another cell, injuring him, so I think he went back?
....well that's all I can remember, and I think I turned it off because I was afraid of having nightmares
Would love to know what it is and being braver would like to finish it.
Anyone have any ideas? I think I saw this when I was around age 9, so 1994

Sounds like an episode of The Outer Limits starring Robert Patrick. The whole show he thinks the aliens are performing expirimental surgeries to turn her into one of them. He falls for her and as she starts to lose all hope for any victory against the aliens he decides to cheer her up by telling her the Earth's secret plan to finally defeating the alien armada. After revealing the plan the aliens come to take her away again and he starts to fight them. They subdue him but as the girl is leaving with the aliens she suddenly turns and says, "Oh they aren't changing me John, they're changing me back." He screams as they lock him in his cell one final time. A cool show.
