It's a bogus exclusive we all bought into. That's all. I don't EVER recall the pistol used by a Stormtrooper. The exclusive one should have been battle damaged or something. Pauldron... SOMETHING canon. This is like having Han Solo with bazooka.

Hey guys , here's a Lucasfilm promo picture that has a Stormtrooper gun that I've never seen, that could have been a cool exclusive. I still think that the Sword and Shield from the McQuarrie painting would have made a golden exclusive!!

Lately a nice chunk of exclusives have come from cut scenes, promo material or concept material. This blaster was in a promo shot. So it's fun to have but not necessary. I don't see why it should be something that's cannon. Did that make Plo Koon's exclusive any less cool?

I thought the exclusive was similar to a gun released with the original Kenner figure back in the day, hence my interest. Kinda like Bib Fortuna's staff...not movie accurate, but the Kenner toy came with one and it makes a cool addition.
