Heston was Indy before Ford

Pretty sure Lucas has stated in countless interviews that Indy is a tribute to the Saturday matinee serials he (allegedly) enjoyed as a kid. I loved the Youtube video that madoldlu posted.

watched this one last night. Can't say this one resembles Indy a lot - Reagan's clothing yes, an idol and a chinese "son", that's about it. It was enjoyable and had some interesting things to it though.

Ronald Reagan was also Indy before Ford was...
