I'm a computer tech that likes the usual, movies, music, videogames. I have a small collection of McFarlane's Movie Maniacs series 1 & 2 and also the Military figures. Currently I'm slowly working toward tearing down a M41-A Pulse Rifle that I got at a garage sale that needs a lot of clean up. I'm really interested in the Sideshow "The Dead" collection which is what led me here. I do have one question, can anyone explain the different editions like I see some are for Comic-Con pickup, non-pickup, ones with only 300. Is there anything to look out for in the series that makes a particular piece rare?

All I can suggest, is that you buy the dead figures that you feel would look great on your shelf. Don't be influenced by how much they will increase in value. Personally, I would not buy them, as zombies give me nightmares. Guess I should stop watching movies about them .
