The Leafs? THE LEAFS?!

They haven't won a Stanley Cup in 40 years. Their team never gets any better because they make horrible signings with older guys that are injury prone. And I won't tell you how bad getting Mark Bell was. I know, I know. He came with Vesa Toskala. Fortunately they are building up from within the system. FINALLY! Guys like Alexander Steen, Kyle Wellwood (sucks about his groin), Matt Stajan, Carlo Colaiacovo, Ian White, and Jiri Tlusty coming up... looks like they will have a good solid future ahead of them.

I mainly love the Devs because of Marty Brodeur. Guy has the best puck control for a goalie. Most durable. Consistent.. GUY IS AWESOME!

Product of Stevens and Niedermayer.. ha! Right. 48 wins (NHL feckin' record), 12 SO, and a .922 S% not to mention a mutha freakin' Vezina! With wha? None of those aforementioned players. Hellz yeah!

On topic, what do you think of the signing of Sheldon Brookbank? Looks like a solid physical dman with some offensive upside. Won the Eddie Shore Award for top defenseman in the AHL last season. Guess he'll be in Colin White's place until he comes back from the IR.

9 game road trip?! Say wha? Damn that's brutal! Better to get it out of the way but that kind of brutal start could hurt a season. Potentially speaking of course. They need to atleast break even... 4-4-1 if you can call an OTL breaking even.
