I kind of like the new Sharks jerseys. You want yuck. Look at Vancouvers jerseys.. heck, 90 percent of the league jerseys look like barf now. Stupid new light weight RBK jerseys.

The colours clash, I loved the Sharks jersey in the recent past, it was great looking. Why change a good thing? Vancouver has NEVER had a nice looking jersey, it must be a tradition within their franchise.

If I had to pick a team to win the cup in the next couple of years its definetely the Pens, they look great!

Oh yeah, and these new RBK jerserys can F off. I won't be buying these things. I like a baggy hockey jersey ( I own a lot ) and I don't want some form fitting t-shirt with long sleeves.

The Gary Bettman era has brought to light a lot of good things for the game, but also a lot of problems along with headaches in its tenure. Sadly, it's been more of the latter. And WTF is up with the retarded numbers on the front of the jerseys? This idea was in mind for the American audience (no offence), but this isn't basketball or football. Clustering the jersey with numbers doesn't make it easier for spectators or viewers watching the games to know which player is which, but it sure makes them look busy!

It's just as bad as the FOX glow puck idea. Again, created for our friends south of the border. Again, no offence, but it wasn't intended for the rest of the hockey world. I am sick and tired that our game gets changed because we need to capitalize on the American market. Don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with selling our sport deep into the US trying to allure new fans. It's just how Bettman and company are going about it which is where the problem arises. Sell the game properly and maybe people will buy into it. Bring the cost of ticket prices down. Offense needs to go up but not at the cost of destroying the game. For example, larger nets have been mentioned multiple times. The argument is that goaltenders are bigger now and the equipment they wear encompasses more of the net. Thing is, not everyone is the size of a Sean Burke. What's next? Finding a shrink ray from Rick Moranis' movie props collection to shrink goaltenders 1/8th of their original size?!

Perhaps I am just moody because so far all the teams I care about (Detroit being the exception) have lost all their season opener games.
