The disc is the main attraction. It's an exact replica from SWS of the (hero) movie prop. The hand is simply an intricate display stand.

True Predator fans like myself are always keen to add something different to their Predator collection

This is a discussion forum and opinions will indeed be voiced. However, referring to a piece as "junk" and "dumb ass" would be considered disrespectful by many. More so when there is very little known about the discussed piece.

If your reference to "you guys" includes me, I'm well aware of who wrote the comments. I was merely trying to point out although this is a discussion forum, opinions should be conducted with some decorum.

Yeah thanks Slugy, that means I'm not dangerous very often though. I forgot about the worldly view that us Scottish just drink lager and whiskey everyday, that's one that's pretty much true.

Putting the SWS disc on a head would be quite stupid wouldn't it?, and that's why there's a hand, to hold the movie prop replica.

I know what you're trying to say, you like toy makers making similar things over and over again. Each to their own, but I don't have an exact replica of the Stan Winston Studios screen used Predator 2 disc and since I've already got busts I'm really happy that this piece is being released, the hand is nothing more than a nice stand to hold it in place.

Here is the deal w/ the whole HCG thing:

- The website looks far too low quality/amaturish

- their product selection (thus far) is some what sub par. Even when they come up w/ a good idea for a product (pred bio mask for example) they go & screw many collectors over by making it a piece that not everyone can display.

- Speaking of which, the faux bust wall mount for the bio mask was a poor choice. On top of allienating many collectors it undoubtedly adds signifigantly to the cost of the piece. A more elegant, attractive & simple wall mount like the ones that icons used would have been more welcome & cheaper.

Yeah, HCG is known for some pretty high priced bunk.

And you can add this "hand" to it.

And I really could care less for the scott's opinions or his little buddy's.
This is my opinion...and obviously, quite a few others.

So, if you two guys like it and want to stand around in a little circle and "admire" it together...more power to ya.

And, if you're going to defend is so zealously...we'd better see ya both fork out the grand to purchase it.

Shouldn't the forearm have something along the lines of a gauntlet on it?

I keep looking at the picture and couldn't find out what was missing, then I noticed, the arm is freaking BARE!

I love Predator, but I am not about to by this.
