I like the chair. However SSC made a bad choice with the material used for the hind legs. The plastic is too soft to take the weight of hologram Sidious, supposedly curved they become straight over time.

What Puay said, but if you make the mistake of placing said chair on a shelf

then as the plastic becomes soft there comes a point when it falls over

thus plummeting from whatever height the shelf maybe

That's not good,
Have been debating whther to get one of these for a while.

Think I'd still rather have the chair than the chess table though

i found that using something like cork board underneith the sidious chair prevents the legs from sliding around.

anyway, I like the chess table a lot as a very unique SW collectible. I don't really consider it a 1/6th item.. more like a minibust or prop replica.

I do not have the set and feel the price is a bit high. I am hoping to get one for a bit cheaper somewhere at some point.
