Tavegg - can you try wiggling the peg into the base more? I had to do that on mine and once it went in, there is no lean to worry about. Can't do anything about the magnets though, but at least SS is replacing them for you.

Hey Ski,

Thanks for the tip. It works for a short period of time but after a couple minutes the weight pulls him back forward. I think my lean is a little worse then most. Ah well. It was bound to happen eventually. Can't hit a home run on everyone I purchase from them. My Shaak Ti had some issues as well.. Feeling the pain of my fellow boardies as I have had minimal issues up until now. I have faith in Sideshow though. They were pretty quick to work with me already and I just got it today

Hope it works out for you. Sideshow will take care of you. It can be a pain, but in the end it will be worth it.

Yup...you guys got better surf boards than mine. Mine has like a 45 degree angle on it...anyone think this is worth contacting SS about?

That's too bad. It was actually his left foot that took some wiggling on mine...once that got into place, the right foot fell right in.

Add some heat, bend it back.

If you break it....call SS and tell them you got a broken Silver surfer lol

Na man, you got the super exclusive Silver Surfer trick board! 1 of a kind! :yess:

Id probably try dipping it in boiling water for a few seconds and bend it back. Then immediately put it in the freezer for a couple min. Used to always do that with my 6" figure weapons, and this seems like the same sort of plastic

This is "painted" plastic. I would highly advise against putting this in boiling water.

Use a heat gun or hold it over a stove top. Since its also very thin it will heat up quick. Don't heat it up to much to the point where you will leave a thumb print in the plastic when bending it back.

Congrats all around you guys! This is a fantastic piece. If I was more into Marvel I would be all over this. Just a mammoth centerpiece for any collection.

I might try the stove top method...I don't have a heat gun. I'm thinking a hair dryer would not be localized enough...might heat up the whole thing.

How fast do you think you can ship yours to me? I'm going to swap mine out anyways but my Surfer came with very little bend. I can hook a fellow boardie up and just ship your bent one with my leaning tower of galactus back to SS

I could have it there in a few days. Can you post a pic of your surfer?
