SS is going to be sending me a new Silver Surfer, and they are giving me a credit or refund (haven't decided yet) for the glue smears around the boots.

I am not that put off by the smears, as you can barely see it on mine. I just sent the pics to see if they would do anything about it. Glad I did now.

Congrats Bmutha but did you try the heat and bend technique i used for my Silver Surfer? It worked pretty well and is an easy fix. Sideshow are sending me a completely new body due to the defective LED

Yes, but I over did it a bit. I straightened out the board, but there is a little wrinkle in it. So, it's straight, but not flat...if that makes sense. I had trouble getting the heat on such a small localized area...ended up heating the entire board. Looks ok on display unless you get up real close to it, but I'm still glad to be getting a replacement.
