So tempting...I loved that game. I'm not sure I can afford the time to get lost in it again. Is it a large addition and pretty good value?

I'd say yes. Its size is about as big as the whole eastern part of the base game. Visually striking (of course), and happens alongside the main storyline.

I just bought this game for $6.56 from Best buy. They have an early Black Friday deal of $20...couple with my Gamers club membership and a $10 coupon I had dropped it down to less than $7

I can't wait to finally jump into this game

Great deal, and you won't be disappointed. Not if you follow the story and care for Aloy.

I'm going in with good vibes, and I already love the art direction and character design, so I think I'm going to like it.

I would have gotten this game a lot sooner, but I was playing LoZ Breath of the Wild and it was structurally too similar. I didn't want to dilute my enjoyment of Horizon. So I waited...now I'm glad I did. I'm probably going to save this for my four day weekend around thanksgiving. Then I'm gonna dive right in

Yes, I actually did the opposite. Got this one first and finished it before going into BotW.

What a crazy year! Any other one, Horizon would have taken GotY, but Nintendo delivered not one but two masterpieces that, I think, slightly edge Horizon.

Any other year, this was the game. But heck, that great for us gamers!

I think you'll love it.

Horizontal Dawn was the first PS4 game that I manage to get Platinum , try to get to the DLC later as Im playing Wofenstein 2 now

Im 5 hours in and enjoying the heck out of this. Still the game of the year for me for it's new and fresh concept.
What surprised me though was how big this map actually was for the price you pay. Definitely getting alot for your money here.

I'm probably about 15 hours in and loving it. It's such a "get sidetracked" game though! I haven't taken the direct path to a quest once!

I love all the weapons, especially those tripwires. It's so much fun setting a perimeter of 8 tripwires surrounding you and then shooting the big robo-beast to lure it in

Considering what I paid for my copy I'd say you're right about that one

Finished up Frozen Wilds the other day, all the trophies etc. Just superb and lengthy for a DLC.

I actually want more though. They could easily open up another section on the map and introduce a brand new area like they did with this.

Me, too. But there won't be any additional DLC for HZD.

THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES! The whole continent to explore and rediscover! Head East towards the fallen Big Apple? West, to LA? South, to what remains of Central America? (my country isn't in the map of the world by the time of the Faro plague)

The next Horizon game is well underway by now, I am sure.

Yeah that's why i praise this game too. The endless options on how to approach a fight.
Only thing i wish they would consider next time is knives, axes and such and include a combat system where you can counter attack them. I remember i used to enjoy a knife fight in the early Assassin's Creed games. It's kinda a no brainer when it's a post apocalyptic world.

Just obtained 100% Frozen Wild trophies 2 days ago, such a wonderful DLC and beatiful frozen snowy land..but not for those FireClaws though

Yeah, more Melee options would be nice. I'd also like them to get a little more involved with climbing variations. Too many times I was scaling a cliff but was halted because a grouping of rocks was just a smidge higher than my jump. It felt a little silly that she couldn't vault herself up just because it wasn't that special kind of climbable ledge.

Other than that, the game is amazing. I've also had more fun in this games photo mode than any other games version of it.

For those of you who have played BOTW, is this game pretty similar? Plan on playing the complete edition in 2-3 months. Have heard nothing but good things about this game.
