just wait till people start to get rid of him for reasonable prices.....once the Avengers 2 hits this one will plummet in price. Like I've said many times before he is nowhere near worth the price people ask on ebay and here.

I've made that same case to some, but there are ppl who think the value will hold bc the suit is most likely going to be different. I think it will drop a bit, to around 300-350

I duno man. I see alot of figures keep going up or stay at their high prices. Like original batman begins,dx02 the mark6. Not to say you cant get lucky. I got my hawkeye for 350 just before he went over 400.

I don't know why people would think the first Hawkeye would lose his value. I would think older figures would be worth more with age. Especially first outings. Look at the older Iron Man figures such as Mark 1-6. Most of them are selling for more than their original prices. War Machine. Figures from Batman Begins, etc.

I don't see the first Hawkeye losing it's value too much, but since you can only get him on the after market anyway, I see no reason to not wait out the release of the eventual Avengers 2 figure and decide then which one you prefer.

I love the look of mine.
My Avengers wouldn't be complete without him(Or without any of the others).
I can envision picking up all the new Avengers from AOU, but i can't imagine any reason i'd get rid of the originals.

I'm keeping my originals. Always something special about the first issues. I like your Hawkeye pose. How did you get his arm to bend so far? I like Widow's rifle. I think the Winter Soldier version she will have a sniper rifle, judging from the Gentle Giant statue.

Yeah, i fancied giving Widow something extra other than just the two pistols, so i made her a rifle.
Hawkeye can move his arms to get into a real archery pose because i stripped him, removed his arms and replaced them with TTM20 arnie arms. I know they are too big, and the joint is too exposed, but i prefer him more able to get into proper draw poses.

That mod is so simple and brilliant! I agree that Hawkeye NEEDS to be able to draw proper. I'm hoping they release one for Age of Ultron and he has a bit more flex in his arms.

I think fig will retain it's value over time. It seems to have been made in more limited numbers than the others and was somewhat difficult to obtain even at release. I'm sure there will always be fans of the first Avengers movie and those who collect the toys will need Hawkeye to complete the team. Anyways, I really like it overall and feel fortunate to have been able to get one.

Nice mod, Bar! It's hard to get dynamic poses with him because even if you do the arms, you still have the restrictions of the suit on the legs and torso which limit range of motion in the lower body.

I think for Avengers 2, the prices will be out of my reach to be able to get everyone. I will need to make some hard choices if I want to collect any of the future lines at all...including just not buying them if the price is that high.
