i feel like we will see a nebula before Drax at this rate. I'm not losing faith though, I'll take a high drax or even one with him joking on the goo from Knowhere, i just need the complete set!

That's been my thought for a while, much like Rescue Cap and Stars And Stripes Cap from the last few years that everyone kept saying were canceled when they didn't go up for regular sale and then showed up as Con Exclusives. As long as we can complete the team of 5, I'll be happy!

How do you get a con exclusive item when you don't go to the event it was exclusive to? I've never owned or tried to acquire any con exclusive items, so I don't know. It seems to me that if Drax was an exclusive, it'd be hard to find him for sale. And if found, he'd be really, really expensive. That doesn't sound very fun to me.

Hot toys does not have con exclusives like others. It's not like a SDCC exclusive where u have to be at the event. All of hot toys figures are sold online or at their store in Hong Kong.

But hot toys does not usually offer a base normal character as an exclusive. Not for a first of.

It's usally some variation of a normal figure (stealth iron man mk7). War machine mark 2 is the next one, but it's essentially a repaint of th im3 mk2 proto release. A character like drax, who does not a figure out at all, and is a main character from a film/team..theres not a real worry that this, if released, will be a con exclusive

I doubt we'll be seeing a Drax anytime soon. Such a shame because Guardians was easily my favorite Marvel movie so far from Phase 2. Even though it helps my wallet out, I would've loved to complete the set. Guess I'll wait for Guardians 2 for him.

Guys here are some news for this long-waited figure:
My friends uncles friend happens to be a part of the hottoys company, when I asked him for the release date of drax, he said the reason why hottoys has been holding back on this figure is because of the over complicated colour variant/tattoos that this characters has. He told me to expect to see some pictures of this figure sometime around the exhibition(which means July).
