A Ronan and Nebula 2-pack would be pretty damn sweet.
I think that is the only way Hot Toys would justify releasing a Nebula.

All I can say is there damn well better be a Drax in this line before ANYTHING else.

Anyone else watch Halt And Catch Fire? Lee Pace is like Steve Jobs/Don Draper all in one in it. Plus, it has a kickass 80s soundtrack.

Seen every episode. He's riveting as Joe MacMillan. Riveting.

Season 2 just started on a real high note (Juan Jose Campanella directed the first episode).

I really hope Gunn's ambiguous comments about Ronan returning pay off. He's a huge part of the Marvel universe. The Kree have the technology to "resurrect" him [in a lab]. Something tells me they were involved with him all along despite what the Kree chancellor told Nova Prime.

I thought the first episode of season 2 sucked! I just find Donna and Cameron's storylines and characters in general dull and boring. It's all about Joe and Gordon. Mainly Joe. I really only watch it for cool electronic 80s songs put to footage of him burning and smashing stuff.

The point of showcasing Donna and Cameron so much was to show they need they guys back in the picture. The team should be back together soon.

It is such a shame that they haven't made all the villains from the film. All the characters in this movie would just make awesome looking figures. When you look at AoU they have just human looking heroes and then robots. The figures look great, but The Avengers still look like normal humans. Only Quill looks human out of GotG.
Yondu and Ronan would have been great pieces to accompany the Guardians.

Yondu and Nebula for me - both would be instant buys.

Ronan would be a big pass. Decent, if generic bad guy, not interesting enough of a character.

I know Drax is needed to complete the team, and I want him too, but I would love Yondu more - ain't gonna lie.

No surprise there.

I haven't been following much news or info on this figure, but I would assume this not being made has to do with a likeness issue or something? I know there's been rumors/spec on the details, but figured regardless it was something to do with a a likeness issue. And not that HT didn't want to release him? I mean, the others went up for order relatively close together (that I'm remembering) at the time.

I can't agree with the consensus that Ronan was generic. He was Marvel's Osama Bin Laden. A terrorist completely capable of genocide and happy to achieve it. Pace played him beautifully and he pretty much oozed menace in every scene.

I didn't even care about Thanos in GOTG because I was still in awe of Ronan's skull-cracking antics beforehand.

When he tells the Nova Corps. "You stand ACCUSED." I got chills.

They need to do more with him. Hopefully down the line.

If you don't think there's weight to a man willing to kill billions then I don't understand what your concept of an effective villain is.

Ronan didn't want the throne to Asgard or the rights to the arc reactor or revenge for his father's legacy or control over the world's weapons sales. He wanted to murder an entire culture.

Well...Red Skull was gonna bomb the world. So they're kinda the same. XD

And then you have Thanos who kills half of the Marvel Universe just so Mistress Death would notice him and love him. I can't WAIT to see more of Thanos' backstory with Mistress Death and really really has the potential to be a very layered and disturbed villain of the Russos and writers nail him. They nailed Winter Soldiers characterization so I'm sure they'll get our Mad Titan right.
